Arrma Infraction 8S - 118 MPH Speed Run

I'm slowly chugging along trying to make the awesome Arrma Infraction go faster and faster. I hit a new personal best in the quest for speed! I'm very impressed with this truck. Would love to compare it to a Traxxas XO-1 next.

Nice runs! Your girl looks as interested in what you're doing as mine used to when she'd insist on going with me to the archery range "because we weren't spending enough quality time together",😝. I remember how excited I was the day I bought my first "hobby grade" 1/10 scale R/C, I couldn't wait to get it home and show her what a beast it was, how it'd climb seemingly impassable hills and all of the neat things it could do! Unfortunately, she didn't share in my excitement or possess my child-like wonder of this magical new world of R/C I'd discovered. I actually thought she was going to leave me over that first R/C, so I took it back to the hobby shop the next day........AND GOT A BIGGER ONE! That did the trick! Freed up the walk-in closet, great place for storing all of my new trucks.

Hi 👋 I am a Old dude that used to race years and years ago I say best part of 30 years ago. slot cars 12 scale electric 1/10 scale buggies and are used to race ic hydroplanes which I was very good at one lot of races and came eighth in the world in 1992 I believe you're standing in a place where similar to what are used to do when I used to race my buggy lots of electric cables above you and that could be part of the reason why you're not getting a very good signal . You need to upgrade your radio right away. I bought the Dx5c and not only is the range better but you can fully adjust your AVC a lot better. The steering and throttle control can be adjusted separately.

That's impressive for sure! All due respect here, but recommend if care much for others in the vid clear the way man that rig could cause serious bodily injury quite easily.... especially making me cringe at the end when she's down street from you and your fighting Rx range on low Tx battery!!??!! While going one hundo +++ Please be extra careful and very glad you at least asked her to step back, she's still too close for comfort and really so are you but as an RC enthusiast and car enthusiast in general I get the thrill of it for sure!! Not sure but did she even have closed toe shoes on?? Tad nuts if you ask me, but cool to see speeds like that attainable with "relative" ease these days. I run a V Hull boat on 12s and only get to 65mph on 3800watts. 118 holy wow!
