Arrma Infraction Mega Brushless Conversion

We unbox and maiden run our new arrma infraction 4x4 mega on its stock motor. then we fully convert it to brushless using the arrma vendetta specs. We install a 3900kv, 100amp 3s capable esc, 50t spur, 20t pinion, high speed support shaft and finally give it the true infraction look with the silver dboots hoons. We speed run it on 3s to see how it performs and we were not disappointed.

I have the same infraction as you have, but I bought it as a roller from Ebay. I out the Hobbywing 120amp 4s capable, and I'm using the arrma brushless motor from my Outcast 4s v2, spur 50t with pinion 23t, the servo from the Outcast 4s v2 too. I never check the speed for me is OK, I'm not after how much speed he create I'm using street bash

I was able to get 68 with the 26t on 3s so on 4s your getting up there easily

It’s a great on road vehicle and easily converts to brushless at a sale price even better but it’s really slow brushed right out of the box..

Hello so I plan on doing a custom infraction mega. I wanna do a 2wd version. Would you think it would spin the tires a little better seeing how there won't be a center shaft and front diff to spin ???

I’m not sure if it will be better but it doesn’t hurt to try let me knw I got 68 on 3s and 26t pinion so if u do the same and get better results let me know

Well now there at least selling it as a rtr brushless but when i bought it they only had the brushed version …that the same stock 3900kv that comes on the vendetta and new brushless infraction.

​​@@Joercgaragethis is the first time I have heard anyone talk about Hoons having a long life. I run 4s and I get 4 battery packs in before the belts start to wear through. That's on a Felony with GP5 gearing front and rear, though. Probably over twice as heavy as your Infraction. I now use GRP XT7 which last twice as long and they're made in Italy, not China, which means quality control is much better.

@@Boogie_the_cat I was referring to the silver hoons having a longer life that the white standard and yeah on this car I was only running 3s so I didn’t burn through tire as bad as felony or infraction thanks for stopping by

These are the 2.4 hoons with 14mm hex a direct fit for the infraction mega and there belted take advantage there on sale for $14.99 for a pair

It’s not the same setup as the vortex it’s the same set up as the vendetta 3900 kv vortex is 3200 kv

You might have a motor cable plug in incorrectly or some bad programming in the esc is it a spectrum esc ?

Also check your throttle reverse make sure that set correctly
