Arrrma Infraction Mega 6S UPGRADE- How fast?

In this episode of 10th Scale Garage, we take a look at the Arrma Infraction Mega and it's new 6S brushless upgrade. We give it a speedrun to see how fast it goes as well as do some drifting and EPIC burnouts.

I have trimmed the factory wing down and stiffened up the rear suspension which keeps it relatively straight and so far no parachute effect. Running Max 8 ESC and motor on 6s with 31t pinion and 50t Spur. 79.5mph is currently my PB but still have plenty more in the tank with more room.

I love my infraction mega. I have it on 4s with a Traxxas 3500kv motor and it takes it. It’s super fast. It’s my favorite car in my collection. I even took it off jumps and it takes it. It’s such a well built chassis.

4S seems like the sweet spot. Still super stable, and plenty fast on 4S.

Very impressive the power you have pushing out of that Mega. I was hoping it stopped flipping l wanted to see how fast it can really can go. I definitely know what it's like not to have a perfect surface to run on. Great run on both trucks.

Great timing. I just did a speed run on mine but on the 3900kv and 26t speed pinion vendetta specs on 3s and it will hit those speeds and not want to go air born for a mega the little brother to the big infraction is definitely a little beast and hold it’s own great video

Great runs bro. Try wrapping from the front bumper to the under side of the chassis with tape to stop the parachute effect 👍🏻

It’s nothing but the vendetta.I made my mega a 3s with vendetta . Just swop few pieces . Bumper side panels etc. we run them on out dirt oval . It’s a blast

Gotta say….. you really have Iron Nads to run that platform on 6s ….Bravo my friend….!!! Respectfully? That RC is …I’ll bet…is a minimum 5 lbs lighter than the 7scale ….Infraction or Felony…. If you want …. Check out Earl Moorhead on the tube…. He’s done an extensive series on the Arrma Vendetta running on 6s Spektrum electronics and he’s flirting with speeds north of 90MPH …..I believe …. But I’m not certain but I think the Vendetta is the same platform as the lil Infraction your running….. nice content as usual….. thanks ☮️out 👊🏻

Awesome good job guys. 70mph definitely seems to be the limit for that suspension tires and surface. Looked like the front end was lifting right before 70mph. So less steering control while loosing front end stability equals a driver induced oscillation and bam we get epic crashes 😎

Yo fellas I did almost the same. I have a felony and upgraded that with a castle 1717 so I put the stock motor and esc into the infraction mega and it’s bad ass!! But anyway you need to try the ara550096 tires on that there truck you got. Made by arrma for that class of vehicle

I just put a spectrum 3S 85 amp esc with a 3300kv motor on mine, and man it spins the wheels on demand. Picked up the combo for 100 bucks. I used the stock pinion and spur that came with the mega. Does anyone have any gearing recommendations because I’m sure I can gear up a bit.

Well, it certainly has the power to do 75+, just not the stability. Perhaps add some weights and belted tires? I'm actually curious what the Vorteks would do with that ESC/Motor combo haha. Maybe you'll finally get it to hit the advertised speed that way lol.

You need to put thicker diff grease in the front diff should help pull the car front the front more and eliminate the drifting aspect of the car also new tyres

Needs a more aerodynamic body. Because of how lightweight it is, you need the aero to hold the car down. Plus you said the body was wrecked anyway :-)
