Wzup Mr.Moorehead!!! Got that same setup 32t/40s with center diff and she broke the 100 mark and the motor (1250kv)doesn't get to hot 🔥. Did speed runs and little bit of drag. I love it

hey earl got to love the game changer fans have 2 on my limitless a v2 fan and a typhon fan both blowing on the motor. v2 fan is two years old the typhon is 1 year old. both run of a 3s battery. never had a heat problem. if thes fans ever go out i will by gamchanger fans again they do the job. thanks earl .

I heard when they shit the limitless when first came out it was running a center diff and 8s spectrum system. Good 👍🏻 job again thanks I really respect it and appreciate all your work and time. Soo hoons is winning so far with at least smoking the tires..

I love the 1250 as well. I had one in my favorite xmaxx build. I had it paired with a maxx 6esc. It was perfect. Nice vid Earl

With the 25t pinion it will be a lot slower than it was. You'll probly want to gear up more. Hope you make a video about getting rid of all the extra fan wiring and connectors. I'm assuming your going to solder them all in? Catch you on the next one. Great short videos Earl!! 💯💯😉

You know i was a spektrum fan boy until i took a statement made by a friend resulting in my trying a torox185 (rebranded hobbywing from a corally) and it made my 6s kraton act the same way as putting the mmx8s combo ... absolutely monsterous! And i may be jumping the shark here but im debating on putting the hobbywing in my kraton 4s conversion because i dont like how that 150 just like the one you replaced is acting in my lil monster

Seeing that all of my rc's are heavy but all stock I think I'm going to replace all of the escs with 8s esc and just run the normal lipo . Thanks for the videos they sure do help 👍 🙂

Yes I tend to do the same I upgraded my 8s rigs with castle system and moved all my esc combos down one 👍👍so it’s upgrades to 3 more rc cars for the price of one rc 4 in total upgraded 💪💪

When I found the pre exisiting holes for the 160A ESC, I assumed there were plans for an 8s Infractiona and Felony at some point. Anyways, great video Earl.

I did the same conversion to one of my mojaves. Then the take out from mojave went into my infraction as a budget dual motor setup.

I was always on the fence with spektum. The price was on par with Castle MMX8, so I wasn't sure which way to go.

Spektrum is a good system and some of my RCs are running those electronics, but when I’m upgrading, I have a lot of experience with Hobbywing and have had good luck running their electronics. Can’t wait to see how the Infraction performs with the new system. 👍💯

Rtr tend to use under qualified system as spectrum is rebranded hobbywing if you fallow there weight rating the spectrum are to small on arrma rigs or right at there limits 💯💯

Seems like most things these days are engineered to fail 🥺 I suppose if that fan hadn't been cutting out, it may have lived a little longer? But even then, I think eventually it would have failed. Designed too close to the limits, if you ask me.

Its the same combo that is in the stock dbxle right ? I’ve kept the combo from my Losi and thought to put it into the Infraction but the esc seems way to huge for it ??

No that has a 780 kv motor or the 2.0 had a 980kv motor Losi did the 1/5th scale electronics right arrma it’s again to small 1250kv runs hot in a 1/5th scale rc that heavy

The 2.0 had a 980 kv on the 2.0 the v1 had a 780 kv red can motor from what I remember

Yep I just found out the hard way aswell the infraction 150amp and motor cannot handle more than 25t gear....so basically the 27t gear that comes on the side is a grenade waiting to go off 1 and done run then you have to upgrade the system

I wasn't a fan of the 1250kv in my infraction it didn't perform well unless on 8s I ran a hobbystar 4585 1800kv absolute animal of a motor but it would get hot like 180° with fans

On 8s 1250kv motor your only getting 42000 rpm but on the 6s stock system your getting 55000 rpm which makes it faster on 6s in your situation and the weight you are adding with 8s is not gonna help

Fantastic keeping it moving Earl but what does it mean that your esc you removed stopped the lipo indication beeps 🫣 was that the sign the esc is/was dying on you 😩 so now with this much more powerful motor will the drivetrain hold up to constant abuse Nice of you to share Earl💯🫡🥃
