Nolan, them damn tires are crazy expensive… that’s why I don’t run mine all the time. One good day with the boys and there goes a set of tires… I did however find some that last 4-5X longer. Hobby park. They are only rubber, no foam, but they are solid and pretty thick. About the same cost but they last me 7-8 really good bashes before I need to change them.

I already watched this before but i recently bought an Arrma Felony slider with a stock Orange body from eBay and i pulled the Castle 8s electronics from my XO-1. Although i can run until next month since i spent most this months paycheck on my Felony and i need the rear felony tires to get mine running since the Felony uses different rear diff gears than the Infraction you have. and bummer you fried your stock ESC.

@@RCKnockout It sure will and i have high hopes for it since my XO-1 isn't really performing the way it should. And i feel the Felony will be a way better car to upgrade and have fun with.

@@RCKnockout You're 100% Correct at least in my opinion, As much as i used to love my XO-1 but after so many breakages, steering issues and ever since i bought my new Felony i'm starting to fall out of love with my XO-1 and Traxxas cars in general. I'm already planning on getting a 3s Infraction to convert into a Vendetta later this year.

@@cjchannel12RC I like a lot of Traxxas cars….especially because of the easy to work on modular designs…but I think Arrma does have a better lineup of On Road vehicles

Nolan have you ever tried thicker shock oil in xmaxx stock shocks? Wondering if it would be worth my time. Think it’s stock 30w which is real thin for a basher

Yeah I run 50wt in all my Xmaxx’s…works a lot better for soaking up big jumps

Cost of the tires is just absurd, $60 for 2 or 3 runs is just nuts. That's what, $20 per run best case scenario that lasts 15 minutes? It looks like such a blast but if you don't run the car often due to that reason, what's even the point lol

I’d say RPM Arms, RPM Rear Hub Carriers and Aftermarket Hinge Pins…1.5 mod gears is a good upgrade too

How long do those tires last if you aren't drifting the whole time? 60 bucks every 2-4 runs would get spendy really fast!
