Great info on the products.. As an electrician, I see to many people destroying their new lipo's, not knowing enough about their disadvantages, like leaving the batteries in too hot places, unused fully charged over longer time, Wich in the long run shortens the overall performance of the otherwise great powerful technology. Definitely let us all know what you think of the charger. I have a few ISDT products and really like them. From what I understand that is the ISDT D2 charger that I have just with the Spektrum name on it. I’m always a little skeptical of the batteries and chargers with big names on them like Traxxas and Spektrum. A nice feature of a more advanced charger is reading the internal resistance of the cells to see the battery health. 👍🏻👍🏻

Also, did you write that the Kraton 6S has the stabilization bars but the 4S doesn't? I like the idea of the longer platform so Kraton for me, but whether the 4S or try go for the 6S just running on 4S....

Thanks Mike 😊!!!! I'm not certain how the Outcast 4s body would fit on the longer Kraton 4s 🤔. You'd likely have to chop off the rear tailgate area and modify the mounts to have it sit flat.The 3-4s rigs don't utilize sway bars like the 6s line. It's perfectly fine to run the 6s rigs on 4s power. 👍👍😎💪👊👊

Thanks so much Kacper 😊. Both the Outcast 6s and Kraton 4s are very durable. The Kraton 4s is about 2+ pounds lighter with pretty much identical wheelbase as the taller, wider Outcast. It's hard to compare these as they're designed very differently. The Kraton 4s might be a better first RC choice 🤔. It's modular design makes it easy to work on with less hardware overall. Both rigs have easy access diffs though. It's difficult to compare durability. So far the Kraton 4s has done great 👍, but I'm only about 5-6 packs into it after bashing again today 😜. I personally think everyone should try an Outcast 6s, but always recommend upgraded aluminum chassis supports, servo support, rear skid plate, and beefier front bumper at a minimum. The 6s line definitely has more brute power albeit a bit pricier option. 🍻😎💪👊👊

@@KaspyHaspy the top brace does make a big difference 💪. That's why I ran a tower to tower brace prior to the M2C Racing Goliath Series chassis's. The V1 Outcast had 3.5mm shock shafts with softer springs. The newer model shocks are much beefier with spec level springs. 👍

I just realize something, I’ve never seen you put a set of street tires on any vehicle of yours. That may have something to do with the fact that off-road tires being driven on the street slip perfectly just enough so that the driveshaft aren’t put under more stress than need be.No wheelies,no strain. Would it be possible to see your 4s Big Rock/Kraton next to your Truggified Typhon ? Wheelbase is the same, TT should be just a little bit heavier with MX28, and Kraton 4S should be a little wider. Thanks Gary😜!!!! You bet. Only thing is I have to get my Truggified back together. I started rebuilding it, but got side tracked with a few other projects. The Kraton 4s definitely has a wider stance and more ride height 👀. Wheelbase is the same as you mentioned. The TT is an absolute Screamer on 6s 😱. They handle quite differently but are both worthy options. So far this 4s has proven very durable. 🍻🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

There's only 2 chassis's. There's the shorter Granite/Outcast chassis, then the longer one for everything else 👍. The 3s have short arms (3s Typhon slightly longer unique arms) and the much longer 4s arms. 😎💪👊👊

I recommend adding a screen to keep debris from falling in and breaking the blades. The other tidbit is either superglueing the fan wires to the fan frame or using a thin strip of Gorilla tape near the fan motor connection. This is a weakspot with many fans. The wire simply breaks right at the solder tab😝. Happens a lot with the BLX185 fans which appear to be identical. It's possible to resolder them with a pencil tip soldering iron, but it's very delicate🍻😎💪👊👊

I don't think the 3-4s arms have the same span/fitment for the 6s suspension mounts. Aside from that, the shock positioning is different with no where to affix the sway bar mounts either 😎💪👊👊

I'm the same way about yardwork 👀. It gnaws at me until it's done. The Smart charger can charge any battery. I just think it can't give you number of cycles, battery health data...etc... unless using a Smart battery. I'm still learning about it, but it's likely the future of charging and Lipos. Congrats on the Kraton 4s 🤗. Mine came with the old Tactic TTX300 if I remember correctly 🤔. The new STX2 is crappy IMO. Hopefully, Horizon will start including the STX3 due out for release this month. 😎💪👊👊

Damn i bent my front shock an just paid $70 for 2 front aftermarket arrma shocks, they are Awsome just wish it wasn’t so damn expensive. Oh well I guess, any advice on what I should upgrade to reinforce?

@@moodymoe1621 some guys run 6s ARRMA shocks on their 4s rigs 🤔. They're cheaper off discounters like Jenny's RC. Both have 4mm shafts though. I'm still running the stock 4s shocks myself. 🍻

Do these cars 4s take normal TBONE and rpm bumpers like for the 6s models or the ones for the 3s platform?

These cars use the 3s Tbone bumpers. They share the same chassis and towers/diff cases so the holes, width....etc.. are universal. 😎💪👊👊

Cool experimenting! I like it alot better with the badlands compared to the g-locks 😀 I am still trying to decide what to do with my big rock 3s that I started running on 4s. I have seen those batteries but never a 100C discharge 👍 Glad they stepped it up from the 30C 😀
