I got the Arma kraton 6s exb roller,it burned through servos faster than I could change my under ware,I finally put it up took all the electronics off and wish some one would buy it

Winter is finally over! I know the anticipation to get this out did not help either with such a short run. I've had some landings like that on my v3 but the most that has happened is a cracked suspension arm. Still was able to finish the bash and ran it a few more times on that arm. Curious to see how this holds up on the next run.

My granite grom hit, thick cement parking lot island curb at 40mph full throttle, brushless, bounced off and flew hundred feet through air across parking lot, still drove afterwards, nothing broken. Shock needed cap put back on and straightened out and top plastic A arm popped off pin, and maybe tiny metal servo off center now.. cost in damage zero…. Fun factor, a lot!!! Just wished it drove straight and true on its own… I wanted bigger and better but it cost so much more and if you break it, parts cost too much for larger cars and if you blow a lipo, besides house burning down or car big packs cost so much.. I enjoy rc but lost lots of money in rc airplanes from horizon.. more complex and larger more it costs. Then AGain with planes all of them are foam junk… only get balsa kits. That sucks I have run mine pretty hard and have not broken anything but mine is stock does not have all that flashy extra weight on it. Sometimes it just lines up that way I have seen 2 synco4's break in weird ways it took a 1o to 12 foot fall on the back arm of my 8S Outcast to break the arm that bad. It happens run crash fix repeat lol

I haven't had any issues with mine. That was a bad landing. Hitting the throttle at the last second is what did it. You would have been better off letting it nose dive instead of correcting at the last second, and sending that rear right into the ground at twice the force.

@Hungrybird474 We all are dude, I can't count how many times I've broke my rc trucks because of bad landings, but I never blame the manufacturer I always blame myself. The air that Thunder rc gets on some of his jumps is insane, and it just goes to show if you can land right they will take a hell of a beating.

Yeah as long as the gears hold up ( I’m looking at traxxas) then most cars will hold up if you have a decent landing

I had more problems with snapping the front diff cups I’ve bent rear hinge pins but I also cartwheeled the thing a lot till I got used to it. I put fuel tubing on the front shocks and messed with the droop and haven’t had a problem since I also got the Arrma metal rear skid plate for it and it helps protect the hinge pin blocks also the body is messed up from the shock protection caps going into the body

It's weird how the heavier Fireteam seems to be more forgiving on rear A-arms. Either the rear bumper prevents the arm from bending all they were getting the plastics right for a while..

Dude the Fireteam was a tank. And imo a better truck than the BigRock. Time will tell how it compares to this Kraton.

I love the new k8 and o8. But the new k6 breaks rear arms every time Im out and I always scratch my head. Landings always seem okay, but the arm breaks anyways. maybe a molding issue or something. Both me and my buddy have the same issue.

Yeah it’s kinda sad. My k6exb roller is a awesome rig and only once broke an arm but these new ones people seem to break the arms a lot

Can you show me how you did the mod to your ramp I have the same one but it’s a little bit flimsy on the support part that’s adjustable. I see you added something to yours to make it more stable

I'm not trying to criticize you but on top of the way you landed on that rear wheel it looked like you may have been accidentally under a little power which would've put a little more stress on that arm. Easy mistake to make. I could be wrong but that could've been the problem.

💭🤔 look at science and do the math. You cannot drop a Cinna block and don’t expect it to crack. Most people are used to drive plastic vehicles that are featherweights if you don’t drive correctly, you will break something how to drive a heavy vehicle first before thinking you can get out there and do anything.

Interesting, I haven’t broken any plastics on mine, only drivetrain parts on big jumps landing perfectly. Do you think your truck weighs more than a stock EXB? That crash wasn’t that bad IMO, you mostly landed it.

To be fair. The Kagama is over powered, and was out in the cold. This was a gorgeous day. But, we’ll see how the Kagama handles my driving in this nice weather soon. :)

Fireteam would be better for full throttle runs the longer wheel base makes it not do so many wheelies

I've got the Scorched titanium chassis on its way. I choose to do the best from a few companies rather than just going with one brand. I just hope that the issues I'm having are not an indication of what's coming for me. My roller 6s exb was an animal. I thought this truck was going to be the same.

can i play the devil's' advocate? just my 2c. After backflipping you corrected the landing and hit the break and then again to recorrected the landing with the power on. with the inertia of the wheel spinning and stopping and starting to quickly would have a tendency to make havoc after hitting the ground. especially for an unbalanced wheel. On the other hand, iv broken quite a few rear arms also. could be a fluke. i just had a short run myself, that was my fault, forgot a couple screws. ps... im not being a dick, but just what i saw. 💭🤔 the vehicle don’t seem as tough because number one it’s not the old plastic crayon that’s flexible. Look at what you put into it put it on scale then do the math a V4 or a V5 is much lighter and much more flexible. You can drive those vehicles just like Traxxas. 🤨

That was a pretty bad hit. Although I have seen more people braking arms on the k6exb rtr. Hopefully arrma go back to their old plastics. I have only ever broke one arm on my k6exb roller. But see a lot more braking the new ones.

I’m making the switch to RPM on this truck. I’ve never had to with Arrma’s. And have thought that their plastics were better. Up till now.

I think something is going on with Arrma. Horizon (owns arrma) is getting seriously cheap lately. Arrma releases a couple super cheap looking driving trucks with funky chassis design. Whats next, discontinue some cool models like the Voreteks 3s? I have all I want from arrma though and turn them into custome trucks. Worry is future parts availability for my Mojave, kraton, senton and vorteks. 6s/4s and 3s

I was pretty hyped for this truck but am seeing far more breakages than I would have expected. Sure they mostly seem to happen on imperfect landings but I still would have expected more resilience under those circumstances for an 1/8 scale basher. It is as though it is no more durable than Arrma's own bigger and heavier 8S trucks.

My stock exb v2 has been awesome so far and it gets sent even harder. I think he got unlucky or something. We've yet to break an arm.
