I'm currently running the mmx8s with the 800kv motor in an outcast 8s EXB. 39/39 gearing, good for 58MPH on belted Jetko Tomahawk tires. Super stable too. The MMX8S is perfectly good for this motor up to 1:1 gearing, anything past that you'd probably want a XLX2.

That's hilarious I put that same gearing back in my Kraton 8S last night. Hahahahaha. Haven't ran it yet but I'm using the 1100kv motor though. Can't wait to see what you do brother🤣👍🏽

@@rcusa201 good run bro👍🏽 those stock tires was busy. I got a pair of Gone Banana Foam for my 8S and they are holding up very well in the rc races on road. Can't wait to see what you reveal next. I just love when that car be Wheeling. I be cheesin 😊

I was running 30/39 gearing with that same system (1100kv motor and XLX2). But long term it didn't do well. My bullets on my XLX2 on both my Outcast 8s and EXB K8S came off the board. Castle told me that that gearing is not a good idea to run long term plus my solder job on my QS8 connectors was another issue. So I'm going back to the 47t spur. Even 35/47 gearing did a lot of damage according to the Castle tech. I'll probably try 30/47 gearing for long term durability TBH. I'm scared to run these 30lbs beasts with that aggressive gearing now. I was hitting 58MPH on grass with 30/39 gearing and the 1100kv motor and XLX2. Amazing, but not a good idea. Even with huge high power fans

I love the castle 800kv , it has an ample amount of torque . I run 39/39 gearing . It's a powerhouse

I get 57mph with stock motor and esc, running 32t pinion and stuck 47t spur. I've been debating on getting that motor esc combo you have but now i'm not sure.

No no bro my connections were loose this baby can do 100 easy u can see how it clogged at the end the jumper was not tight connection also

That was a good video bro but I got to tell you something about gearing if you don't get the right ratio you never get the right top speed I'm getting 55 mph I'll start gearing which is 23/47 stock I haven't experienced any overheating issues my motor and my ECS is a year and 3 months old I literally run my Creighton every weekend my battery don't die out as fast after 55 minutes I still have 30% left on my batteries. Keep your kraton stock other wise your just stressing the components. Big up hommie.

I do not know how you manage to only pull 54 miles an hour out of that system you need to go back to the drawing board bro get your tires changed to some steel belts change your punch rating change your gearing and put some wax in that center differential so that you can get some power to them front tires also the 800 KV maintenance for speed runs homeboy it’s meant for torque if you wanted to do speed runs you should’ve gotten the 1100 and you should be putting it in the in fraction not a 35 pound basher
