The center diff uses a pinion instead of a spur gear right? So is it possible to just mount a pinion gear on the center diff?

It uses a gear with an 8mm hole. You can call it a pinion or a spur.

where did you get the locked diffs and the body lock pieces? why did you lock the diffs?

I got them from scorched RC but recently I went back to open diffs. The body lock side skirts are from eBay. Just had to search for them.

I am stating a new LIMITLESS V2/BITTY DESIGN JOTA build right now & your video was very helpful while I am still getting stuff together. The LIMITLESS V2 roller/slider is on its way. I haven’t made up my mind completely about the 1721. I may go with the 2028/1100KV…any thoughts? I am going to look back at your original build right now. Thanks & good luck.

You could but you want the pinion to be as close to the face of the motor as possible

If you mean just driving and bashing around on the street, neither one. Both of them are for speed runs only. I would do the 1100kv 2028 or 1650kv 1717.

I just wouldn’t do it myself. That motor doesn’t even come with a warranty and the other two that I mentioned does.
