Castle says not to have the aux plug plugged in when connecting the xlx for changing settings. and also in the b-link when you change the power limiting to 400a it goes back to 200a when you log out

Forgive me the Bluetooth mod , the esc plugs into it then into reciver and you can run the car with it in all the time , thanks . I brought a b link Y adaptor and can’t work it out . What’s your thoughts

It is all controlled automatically because my fans are plugged into my receiver... so when I adjust the bec voltage from the esc from the app it increases the voltage in the receiver which then sends more power to the fans. Hope that helped.

Hello... yes aux wire is plugged into the receiver with the b-link... but it does not need to be plugged if your not using aux for anything on your transmitter... but if it is plugged in the b-link will allow you to choose what the aux can be used for

I like the thick wires. Where do i get those.? What brand etc? Do i need a special motor mount for that motor? And i see your esc mounts in middle. How do i do that? Isnt there a brace going from front to back?

The thick wires come with the castle XLX esc... you don't need a special mount for the motor but you have to flip the stock mount around to the other side...I removed my center brace so that I could put my esc in the middle...I sell a carbon fiber mounting kit for esc on Ebay but you can't run the brace with it...I don't run the brace because if you crash at high speed that brace is not gonna keep the car from getting destroyed lol

Love your build man! Car looks amazing! Had a question, if I have an xlx and get the b link adapter will that eliminate the need for an external bec (as long as my reciever and servo are the correct voltage) To run a servo and fans and whatever else at a higher voltage as you showed in the video?

Thanks bro I appreciate it... in a sense yes... because now you will be able to tell the xlx how many volts you want going to your receiver.. especially for those of us running high power servos you'll be able to feed them more power.... some people still run external bec because they say it's takes away strain from the esc but I've been running this setup for a year or two from my xo1 to my limitless with no issues or need for external bec

@@mikeinvegas1 I'm running a castle XLX esc with a tp power 4070cm 2200kv on 8s... my servo is a protek 170sbl high torque high speed servo... I'm running 2 4s gens ace high voltage race series batteries. My transmitter is a spectrum dx4s with a range extender. I use the castle b link to tune the car right from my phone when I'm doing runs... it's a pretty sweet setup... yeah I'm somewhere in the 1200 to 1400 range if you include the carbon kit and the 2 GPSs on board.

I don't think it gives a specific number to choose but it gives you options of like high low and medium something to that effect.. and I think high is full power
