Yo any tips on how to get the punch control to engage? It seems I have to pull the throttle in a certain way in order for it to work and it’s not consistent for me. I’d like to just mash the throttle and have it work

Yeah I had the same problem and got no help so I went around it I disabled it I use my remote exponential to set punch but being honest I don't use punch control. I'm about to start back dropping videos I had to step away from the videos they are time consuming and my business n family come first I'm definitely still racing and have lots to show and go over. Yes bro tape pulls the trash out of the pore on the foams and yes again i run foams only. 30 shore to 28 shore foam wheels. Sorry i took so long getting back to you.

Yeah it's normal I have some that stay on constintly it's only cooling esc when temps reach a certain degree specified by castle. It's preprogrammed I would believe.

HEY SOO….. at 50% punch, IT won’t put out 100% till after 50% trigger??? But then what’s happening for the first 49% of you’re throttle? What’s the curve rate? If you choose 30% punch, will it change the throttle curve? Curve is separate I’m guessing right now… so if you can customize your curve after run back to back, but then how do we know how the punch is affecting your curve? I’d imagine having 100% and just come design your curve bcs you can take down you’re curve at the start and slope it how you want but is there a way to monitor the RPM or VOLTAGE @ that curve chart? I know you have to do runs to find that out but I’m trying to see, as if there was an additional chart that showed a NEW curve that is your punch and your original throttle curve combined after adjusting both of them? I JUST got my gear so I’m allllll about the questions.

First off if it's not going straight power won't help. If she tracking straight shiiiittttt dump the power meaning take it up. If your car leaves spinning as I do it should stop n hook in the 60ty foot mark n really haul ass. If it spins out in the 60ty foot or past pull power it's too much to hook up or bro use traction compound then you don't have to really worry bout spinning cuz it will hook from the house n pull offfffff it may spin out in the 110ft or 100ft but by then you already left him counting cars. You can take the curve up like a bow curves. Try both ways and plz let me know what's cooking I got my gt car up and my H4 down they both riding. Put your point at round 35 or 30 % pull down or up and make it curve like a bow up is crazy brah all I'm gonna say. Be careful brah. Holla back.

I do this with motorcycles not Electric rc cars I use auto tune and power commander similar but this electric stuff alil new for me. Thanks again for your time

Gearing is what's gonna help most for speed. Once you get into the xlx first off turn the amps up to 400 then make a throttle curve change start power from low to medium or high see what works controllably. Tuning these cars is essential to having a consistent car so your gonna have to play wit it any changes made can be factory reset so u cant lose. Firmware I use the latest. Hope this helps cuz theres alot more brah.

Wuts up brah I'm be real witcha I don't even run punch control no more I think it's best for speed runs just my opinion. But u can start at 15 or 20% you don't want it to far out like 50% cuz by then I'm wide open pulling so if u gotta use it I used it low so my car roll out then bang out. In my opinion I want the bang at the line so I can leave em n keep pulling off. Just my preference and you got a great motor pimp.

What good brah I hope all is well in this pandemic. For bash your buggy I'd use 30% to start and don't mess wit motor timing or throttle curve you want raw power. Watch your gearing bashing to cuz I tried a couple motors using race gearing set ups 🤦. I hope this helps.

Nathan Thomas because the new castle xl2 esc is rated at 400 amps the old xlx was 200amps. Itll make your car way faster.
