Arrma Mojave 4s in Action! Beach and forest based fun.

Hi all. Now you might have seen this truck on my channel before but last time I was borrowing it and now I have bought it from my friend Adam. Man that thing rips! It looks super stable too! I did love it on the beach and also the rear view shots of it roosting mud and water all over the place! I am sure there were lots and lots of smiles while getting all this footage! Take care Pete!

Hiya Addam. Oh yes this is a bit of a beast for sure. Quite an upgrade on the Senton. I was getting a bit fed up with the mud as it was on me as well as the car. Apart from that yes it's lovely to drive. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍👍

Hiya Mate. Yeah I did really like this when I borrowed it for a drive a few weeks back. When Adam said he was selling it I couldn't resist. I haven't bought anything for quite a while so I think I deserved it 😁 Don't know if it comes across in the video but it's a fair bit bigger than the Senton and is quite a chunky heavy car. It's quick but it eats batteries a bit too quickly so I might need to invest in a really big capacity pack. Oh yeah I was surprised that I could run through all that water and it didn't splash back onto the camera. Looked good with the buggy following. Cheers for your great feedback my friend. Hi there. Yeah I really enjoyed this when I borrowed it from my friend and so when he said that he was selling it I had to go for it. One thing I would say if you do get one is to get the biggest capacity 4s battery you can. I was having some issues with the LVC cutting the power after not many minutes on my 5200mah batts if I was flooring it. It would run again if I switched it off and on again. My friend had been using a 6800mah and it did run much longer. I need to do more testing with this as my 4s Outcast would last a fair amount of time. Other than that it's excellent and the handling is great. I'll be doing a review when I get time. Many thanks indeed for watching and your comments. Much appreciated 😁👍👍

Hiya John. Oh yes there was much mud spraying about that day and quite a lot of it ended up on me 🤣 I'm loving the Mojave except for fairly short run times with the batteries I have. Hi there. Yeah I'm super impressed with this. One issue I'm having is the LVC on the ESC cutting out way too soon when the battery still has plenty of charge. Ha yeah it is a whopper 🤣 Oh yeah the good thing about the design of this truck is that the mud doesn't spray up onto the camera. It does spray all inside the body so much cleaning required ☹️ I managed to get to the beach at low tide and on a weekday so hardly anyone around which was great 👍 This truck is great but it seems to eat the batteries and I'm getting very short run times. Not sure if there is a fault or if I just need some expensive new batteries 🤔 Anyway thanks for your great feedback as ever mate. Very best wishes to you 😁👍

I'm wondering if I need to thicken the diff oil so it doesn't just spin to power away to the wheels that aren't on the ground. Need to have a look at what people have been doing. Lovely video as always, Pete! I love that RC dreamland feel, although this time a bit muddy, ha ha! It's not my favourite type of vehicle, although I have heard it is really great! I guess it is was the Senton wasn't quite? And nice, you added a few clips with a cool 8th scale buggy also, which model was that? Have a good one there!

Hi there. Oh yeah is it ever muddy! I was getting a bit fed up with it tbh as it was all over me as well as the car. Be nice when things dry out a bit. Anyway yes this is quite a big upgrade on the Senton. I hope to do a comparison at some point. At the moment I'm having a bit of an issue with the LVC on the ESC cutting off too early when the battery has still got plenty of charge. More testing required to see if it's actually faulty. Cheers mate. Well this is a much heavier car and has much more plush suspension than the Senton. It leans in the bends much more like the real truck. I really like it but I have an issue with short run times. Almost back to the Tamiya nicad days! Needs a bit more testing to see if the esc is faulty or if I just need better batteries. Did you get any issues with the esc? I saw Rich Duberbash swapped his out for a 180 amp because of some cut out issues . Great video, really enjoyed. Man that mojave ate up those beach pebbles, loved that! 😅

Hey it's interesting you should say that because I did have an issue with the LVC cutting out far too early. I was going to try swapping it for the one in my Outcast 4s to see if it's any better but as far as I know it is the same one. Might need to upgrade 😬 Many thanks for your great feedback.
