I love my Notorious so much that I wanted this 8s Outcast. Tomorrow is the last day of the $799 sale so had to get it. Can't wait. Thx for the video.

Try using the D-drive pinions.. They usually don't let go as bad as the round ID pinions.✌️

Mines geared 39/39 with a HW Max 5 760kv. It could easily be overdriven or run 12s if you wanted more speed. 8s is plenty fast and violent. Temps are nice and cool at 1:1 even in deep south summer. This is my favorite truck behind the Fireteam. I agree, i prefer my Outcast to my Xmaxx. It's a good at bashing but actually handles decent to. It's also nice not chasing the truck around putting the body back on after every crash or hard landing. I've barely touched my Xmaxx since getting the Vigilante.

Did you drill out the holes on the wheels so the hub can go through?
@jagergerg97717 ай бұрын
Love the Outcast, it’s a monster. I need to get the M2C dogbones and thicker shock shafts, then it will be perfect. I do run a 30/39 deff handles it with no problem

Just got mine and absolutely love it! Currently running 30/47 gearing, what pinion are you running on your 39 spur bud and how are the temps after 20mins of bashing? Assuming you’re still on stock electronics??

Great video. I had the original Kraton 8s x 2. Stock and built. Couldn’t keep rear arms from snapping, swore off the platform. Your video has me thinking I should try it again. Did you ever have the original K8s? And do you think this is much better? Thanks! Great videos man!!👍👍😎
@JasonPerrinRCVlogs7 ай бұрын
I had both rtrs. And I'll say the same thing. I broke arms and bent drive shafts on almost every run. But these new trucks are different. I'm pretty sure I mentioned it. But these new trucks are a lot more durable.

Of all of the 1/5th scale 8s cars, this one seems like it's the most stable in the air and on on the ground. I can see other cars like the Outcast or xmaxx being better at stunts, but I have yet to see a car that looks more stable than the Kraton.

That jump into a wheelie was sweeet!!! What batteries were you using if you dont mind me asking? I have the outcast 8s exb too so always on the look out for better batteries, you seemed to get some decent runtimes with them😎👍🏼

I'm just curious, but why have you set the ramp up to land on the concrete path? I would've thought that would break the car much quicker?

@RcSpeedFreak-kk8wj fair enough, but is it not harder than grass? Im a newbie, so just wondering if there is a reason why or not
@davidproby56447 ай бұрын
The ground starts to slope, if he moves the ramp forward to not land in the dirt, he wouldn’t get as much airtime because the angle of the ramp would be sloped as well.
