Wow, just wow. I'm sure there is a Senton in there somewhere. :) I was thinking that Arrma should make a rally car based on the Senton chassis for their next line up. Thumbs up man.
@thatsmyrc7 жыл бұрын
That would be cool Arrma does need to make a rally or a road car next!

Will that front bumper and post setup work on the typhon and cool build 👍
@Track13News7 жыл бұрын
Dee Smith1987 Well yes but you have to do a good amount of retrofitting, and see what misc parts you have to mount the body post carrier. But the TYPHON is the same chassis as the Senton. Let me find the link of the guy I gave some pointers too before he installed on his TYPHON. His video is pretty detailed on what is needed.

very nice build! one question what did you use to get your wtf fan to run at 8.4v and how did you connect the fan to the battery?
@Track13News7 жыл бұрын
Maurice Browner I have a castle 10 amp Bec set at 8.4 v, zip tied under the rear body mounts, which taps of the main battery.

Would you be so kind to share the silicone weight that you are using in your front and rear differentials? This build of yours is a piece of art. Great work. I "liked" the video and also subscribed to your channel. Keep it up and hope to hear from you on the diff silicone weight if possible.

Nice video one question where did you get the front bumper from?

Reese RC!!! It’s a Traxxas XO-1 splitter/bumper mount, the foam is Ipanema Warrior GT body specific foam bumper from eBay.

thanks one more question do you know if those battery trays will fit on an arrma typhon?
@Track13News7 жыл бұрын
Senton and Typhon are the exact same chassis, please note, I had to cut and shape to fit, those carbon fiber pieces are 100mm x 300 mm, the 100 mm is maybe 10 mm wide for it and the length is about 50-70mm long or so cant really remember the exact dimensions.

Any chance you can discuss how the xo1 diffuser was mounted?
@Track13News7 жыл бұрын
Well, that is a little difficult to explain, but here goes. To Start, I needed to remove about 30 mm of material from the middle of each tunnel, to fit the length of the Senton, then the diffuser would line up. The diffuser, because I needed to mount the diffuser underneath the chassis, I actually cut, dremeled, snipped, filed, and sanded almost half of the diffuser in a C-shape so that it actully butts up against the chassis in the rear, and wraps around to meet the tunnels. In addition, the rear arms would not drop to their desired droop, so more was removed to accommodate this. Now how did I fill all this gap and still allow the diffuser to work? Well Getto style. I needed a thin layer of something to replace what was missing, and attach to the chassis to keep a continued flow. Also, I needed it to even flex a little, because of rear arm droop settings with different tires. My solution, Gorilla tape, strips of gorilla tape, then under the rear arms, gorilla tape so that the adhesive side from under, and below joined together. Then I CA glued all the edges of the gorilla tape. Actually came out quite well. Definitely, not perfectly smooth as the original diffuser but relatively close. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't; but, I was already into it so I made it work.

What wheels and tires are you using? Also how did you lower it? Did you get new shocks and spring s?
@Track13News4 жыл бұрын
GRP REVO GT tires, lowered using droop screw adjustment, springs are NERO springs
@helsonly7224 жыл бұрын
@@Track13News amazing! I have Nero springs and gtr in the mail! Did you have to use longer droop screws? Or the original long enough?

Purpose of dual motors
@Track13News6 жыл бұрын
Two things, one to see if it could be done, and two to see if increased power over weight being added would allow higher gearing thus faster car.
@jumpstartrc15716 жыл бұрын
how are those tenshock Motors compared to Castle
@Track13News6 жыл бұрын
I am assuming you mean Tekin motors. Tekin makes some of the best motors, they are typically used for racing, and are typically high performance with slightly less weight. They are more expensive, and for speed runs, likely just comparable to castle.
