Arrma Typhon 193ft LAUNCH! NEW PB! and Rally car "SNEAK PEAK" with mixed footage!

Doing a quick bench vid and a little mixed footage of the Typhon, 6s and 8s Kraton. Got a personal best of 193 ft with the Typhon! So close to the 200 mark! Not much time to bash lately due to work and weather but got some late night wrenching and building done of the new Typhon/Senton Rally build. Decided to give a sneak peak and more to come soon! Thanks Aaron!👊Yeah that would have been sweet on the Senton parts..oh well, Already have some on the way!😅Should fit right in there perfect! Yeah the Typhon footage was from two different runs! The cloudy day I was running a 23 tooth pinion in hopes the tires would hold but I should have known better!😂I just needed more speed! The second run with the PB I was running a 30 tooth and grp tires. ended up warping all four!💩😆At least there were old tires! Those ramp hits were around 85-90 mph but still need more speed to achieve my goal/ My lipo wasn't up to it! Still so much fun!! Thanks again bro and take it easy!😎🍻👊🤘🤘

The plastic ramps I use are modified stacked ramps but they came from discountramps. Have you ever had any issues with the bearings in the stock Typhon motor? I've been in RC planes and helis for about 8 years but just getting into cars/trucks. I bought a 3s typhon and it's rock solid other than the motor shaft has lots of play after only about a month.

In the 3s, I did have trouble with the bearings going..🤔I ended up upgrading the bearings to a nice sealed and it was good!

Oh that's what I wanted ask , when using truck bodys on truggified typhon how is body mount? I'm trying wait for lhs open bc has v3 typhon 400 tactic remote uk the deal 😁 we closed till the 15th now . So maybe I buikd one from scratch I probably have half or more parts already than thinking grabbing outcast roller from ebay but not same as typhon bc straightcut gears how much that matters idk oh my lhs has old senton too I should keep digging might find a nero...

In mine, I went the easiest route with Senton 6s towers and body mounts. Truck bod goes right on with no mods!👌Building from scratch is always fun! I'm running Outcast diffs in my Green Mojavified but you just need to gear up a few teeth and also gives you the option for 3.8 tires. I ran a 21 tooth with buggy tires and had plenty of speed!😎👊🍻🤘🤘

I got it from Deltaplastikusa.com. This is the Lancia Delta shell but they have lots to choose from! Not sure if itll fit a 3s or not.🤔Probably a few mods will have to be made for body posts etc. My 6s is running Senton towers then made the longer mounts from there. I need to get her back out!!😜😂👊🤟🤟

I'm using the Hobbywing heat sink combo for 40+ Size motors. You have to bend it down to the size you want as long as it's a snug fit!👌

I'm totally blown away by the durability of these rigs once full on beefcake!💪The Typhon took no damage with all the jumps other than the battery tray dislodging!💩The M2C chassis alone adds a ton of durability to the whole rig!😎👊

In this vid when the tire blew off the ramp, I was running a 23 tooth just for the launch! Ended up going grp's and a 30 tooth for a maximum speed! Sounds like a fun experiment though!😎🍻🤘

It's done with throttle and brake. Throttle to bring the nose up and brake to nose down. It def. takes practice but a lot of fun! A lot of factors go into how much control you have like rig weight, wheel spin, tire size and weight etc. A lot of fun once you learn!😎👊

The Typhon is an outstanding car! So versatile too to make it your own!👊 For harder bashing and faster speeds, I'd recommend a M2C chassis to really strengthen the rig and with stock motor, a 17-18 tooth pinion will get her up and moving! I run a 20 tooth but have to keep mindful of temps!👌Also recommend venting the stock tires or pick up a set of Proline Buggy Badland tires. They hook up sick to hold the power down!
