Arrma Typhon Rally Car Conversion and Testing

Took a Typhon, fitted a Audi Bodyshell and some DBoots Hoons tyres and hey presto! Arrma rally car! Did a bit of drifting practice at my local Tesco’s while the misus was shopping, happy days!

Where do you find bodies for the typhon 6s

This came from eBay, it’s a phatbodies Audi shell. Lots of web stores sell 1/8 rally bodies now, just check it has a suitable width and wheelbase.

When you say conversion did you actually change anything other than the body? Love the look but just wondering.

Removed wing, fitted bumpers and body mounting posts new body new wheels and tyres bigger pinion adjusted suspension geometry that’s about it.

What did you do ok to convert it

Fitted senton body posts, added a rpm front bumper, thicker oil in the shocks and diffs, lowered the ride height with the drop screws that’s about it.

Senton mounts, they only need a very small amount of modification to fit the shock towers
