great upgrades! the stock BLX system is really great for bashing but not so much on the track that Noble radio was probably the best of all the upgrades. you can really feel a difference. Amber's 2nd lap was really impressive👍 keep it up !!

Upgraded to V4 all metal shocks 6S on my V3. Changed the 40wt stock oil to 45-50wt. Also upgraded to a Savox 1210 servo with M2C hinge pin blocks (rebuilt & shimmed F/R diffs) with chassis braces. Put in a Arrma metal center diff changed stock fluid to 500K with the black proline badlands as well... one solid buggy 💪🏽😎

...& luckily the V3 still had the stock Tactic 3000 radio so I didn't have to deal with the sucky lag of the Spektrum STX2. Lol 🤣

Thank you!! hahaha I kid you not, we just use our Samsung S10+ and our old gopro hero 3! we also use the DJI Mavic mini. Spending time with the video editing helps improve the quality greatly! We also use a gimble for the phone so the footage is smooth. Will be investing in some better quality equipment soon 😉 Thanks!

I have a question for you... Arrmas stock transmitter has a switch which limits power ( 50/75/100) How do you have your aftermarket radio confugured to use that particular switch ??? Thanks a million

just ordered a v5 as my first real rc car. ive ordered a new radio already also lol. nothing expensive but the videos have said its best cheap remote DumboRC X6 2.4G 6CH Transmitter. was 38 aussie dollars on banggood. just a bit of fun to get me out the house a bit

Don't think the badlands are the tyre to drive there. Badlands are for more muddy off road bashes. Our track is like the same compound, I sometimes drive very soft onroad slick tyres and it works pretty fine on our dusty track 🤷‍♂️

I agree with you there! We will be getting some tires better suited to the track in the future! But for now these definitely performed better than the stock ones even on the track!

@@TheRcKiwis also upgrade the servo, it's a big difference. I've changed to a savox 1256tg and it's insane fast with the spektrum dx4s transmitter and 6000t receiver. It will improve your driving skills even more and your car will handle better 😉 keep up the vids mate. Greets from Belgium 👍

Joe, change the servo, I’ve seen them cause issues with esc burning out. FYI. Awesome upgrades!!!! And yes, my radio was changed before I even drove it, great choice!

Yes, we defiantly will be changing the servo out! Can the servo cause the ESC to fail? Because our BLX185 ECS has failed. Cheers we are loving the upgrades so far! 😊

Lookin good Joe!! Drove that track very smoothly. I agree w/ the changing the servo out. That thing is slow! Get one thats got a least 250 oz torque. And nice transmitter! Hi Nice Upgrades!!! I put the same M2C parts minus the chassis on my V5. It comes with a good radio, electronics and serv so those are stock. The M2C parts are great for bashing for sure. I recommend checking out Modelflight RCs video on suspension setup. He does a before and after at his track. Great info. It is specific to V4, the V5 has different shock pistons. Heavier oil, 40 to 45w will get the bounce out of the buggy and lowering it will help alot. Innovation RC took his Infraction to a dirt track and used AKA IBeam buggy tires. I'm using those but I'm sure there are others. I have those Badlands on mine for general bashing and they are great except for speed runs, yikes!!! Hey did you just installed that motor and esc? I have the same one on my rustler 4x4. It’s a beast on 3s can’t wait what it can do on 4s & 6s. you should do a speed run on that armma. Just starting the rc hobby, so maybe a dumb question: you say changing radios makes a big difference, but what exactly is the difference? I use the stock radio, how does upgrading make it better?

Radio can make the car more responsive as for example the old arrma V4 radios had a massive delay on them
