Thanks for your help Rich. Any tips on keeping the battery tray from not falling out🤔🤔. Mine came flying out on a landing. The airs u do and yours don’t come off wtf👋. Please help. Thanks master of bashing 💪🙏
@richduperbash29664 жыл бұрын
I use a strip of yoga mat under all my Lipos. It does a great job of absorbing energy and helps both the packs and the tray withstand impacts 👍. Aside from that, make sure to check the chassis screws regularly. If a screw just spins, it's likely because a batter tray post snapped and will likely need replacement. The other thing is I only run lighter compact (4s sized) 6s single hard packs. Usually Hobbystar 4800mah 50C 6s. The bigger/heavier the pack, the more stress you place on the tray and your rig doing huge airs 😱🚀🚀😎💪👊👊

Thanks Ed 🤗!!!! Yeah I love these MX buggy wheels 🥰. I generally feel is best to build your own wheels with top grade glue, but the extra time involved is nice to save also 🤣. Thanks Gary 🤗. Yes indeed, been running Kraton hubs, hexs, and stub axels for about 4-5 years on the Typhon. Those were the standard buggy MX Badlands. The newer MX28 HP Belted Badlands have better air control, but you have to upgrade the plastic Raid hexes or they'll usually crack. Hopefully M2C will offer them. I'm not sure 🤔. My feeling is it will be too narrow with the non offset Talion Katars for the extra height. I think they'll clear the body when turning, but you'll be more likely to tip. I use to run Badlands 3.8's on my original Truggified build (1/2" offset Durango's) 3 years ago and it was too much for my taste. This is funny cuz I just finished building one with Mojave arms 🤣👍👍😎💪👊👊

Hey Reggie 👊!!!! Either one is great for bashing and huge airs👀. No wrong choice. Hey Robert 👊. I've done 2 diff specific videos. Thing is the ARRMA shims changed with the V4-V5 models (after my last vid). In a nutshell, I replace the newer version stock planetary shims with wider Mugen E0206 ones plus I add 2 to 3 Tekno #1222 shims on the crown gear side bearing front and rear. That's it 👌. I'm honestly not a huge fan of the LSD diffs in the EXB's. If you have an EXB, you can buy the open diff shim kit from ARRMA. I'm running that in my Outcast 6s EXB and it works great. 😎💪👊👊

@@richduperbash2966 I think you are the best brasher on KZbin. You send them. I’m scared to do so. I have two I Kraton 6s and a granite. Ive completely replaced one with all upgrades and the other is stock. The shock one broke first jump. Arma needs to step up there game on the chassis. M2C has the strongest Ive experienced

Nice!! Love my Typhon! How often do those tires come unglued? I was looking at getting a set, but not if they come off the rim every run.👍👍
@richduperbash29665 жыл бұрын
Thanks Brother 👊!!!! These wheels did great the first couple bashes. I failed to check my glue beads and probably didn't prep them the best when regluing 🤔. It's safe to say most premounted tires can have glue failures with hard driving on 6s power geared up. I'd definitely get these again regardless 👍. Might buy the rims and tires separately and do my own glue job next time. 😎💪👊👊

Rich Duperbash That’s good to hear man. Thank you. When I first got the Typhon a couple years ago, I was using duratrax tires and they shredded fast on 6S. Now I run the Badlands 2.8 on 10mm extended hubs and wrapped with Spiderwire fishing line, and it’s a beast! But I miss it being a buggy. Thanks for the response Brother!!👍👊

Sorry I missed your comment 👀. I'm running an M2C Racing Goliath Series chassis. Helped test the very first prototype. Here's the link. If you use the "m2ccoupon" code you'll get a discount. 🍻😎💪👊👊m2cracing.net/arrma/59-m2c3005-arrma-goliath-outcasttyphonsentnotor-6s-blx-.html

Is it best to run two 3s lipos or just one 6s, or it doesn't matter??
@richduperbash29664 жыл бұрын
I really prefer running a single 6s hard pack. It's much simpler and secures safer in the battery tray. Less wires, less plugs, less hassle charging up. I cut off the jumper cable and run a single EC5 off the ESC. 😎💪👊👊

Hey man, I love your vidz. Can you please make a video about soldering the arma Arrma IC5/EC5 connectors, I need to resolder all my batteries when I get my outcast:p
@richduperbash29665 жыл бұрын
Thanks Thomas 🤗!!!! EC5's take some practice. They are a bit challenging. Not sure my technique is vid worthy 👀🤣🤣. I recently went to using a mini torch. Still perfecting the technique. I use my iron to tin the wires and do one battery lead at a time of coarse, keeping the other covered for safety. The trick is not overfilling the cups or the residual solder spills over and makes it impossible to get the connector seated into the housing. I'll try to send you a link. This is the general technique I've been using. 😎💪👊👊 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYOTh2p6gKaIrKc
@richduperbash29665 жыл бұрын
I should add there are 2 styles of EC5 connectors. Some brands you thread the housing onto the wire and insert the connector from the other side. I use E-flight and the brand from RCJuice that assemble like in the video. 👍
@thomashammertr94275 жыл бұрын
@@richduperbash2966 thanks man, the torch method seems "kinda" easy, make a wooden cup holder.. Thanks man :) keep up the awesome work👌 do both types pf connectors fit the arrma ones? and do i need the small 20 or so gauge cable in the middle?
