I got mine wedged under my brothers car one day while we were out ripping around!! I was about full speed when I hit some loose gravel along the edge if the road and just started sliding!! All I broke was a front a arm. 💪💪 But it was hilarious!! We had to lift up the suspension on the car and send a kid under to pull the vorteks out!! Great video Guy!!

Maybe the gear noise is the bearing you didn't change! If one was bad the other is most likely no good. Every 3s motor bearing defective. Same noise just less of it.

@@rcjunkie260 could be but I haven't come across that side of the bearing having any issues I pulled a couple of the motors part that have miles on them just a check for that exact issue and they seem tight a while ago

Trust me it can do 57 without the speed pinion. I dunno why everyone hates the truck, it's a blank slate or jack of all trades and isn't rc about customizing? Any kind of upgrade the truck can go either way. All mine needed was typhon arms and links and big rock tires and is the perfect little basher.

@@jessjoshwyatt3571 Same here. Mine had the infamous motor bearing issue. Otherwise nothing to report, garden variety 3s Arrma. I had to rebuild the rear diff recently. Tolerances are very tight. I'm pretty sure that's were the mystery drivetrain noises and clicks are coming from on the newer vehicles.

I''m running the Habao tires off the SSTe, so hopefully my son will be able to hit the track with me and we can see how they compare on a real track running the same batteries and tires.

@@jessjoshwyatt3571 yes they would balloon bad if I had it geared for speed runs, but with my current gearing, I was only getting 47.5mph street with the taller stock tires. Top speed right now with those short tires on just 4s is maybe 37-40mph, which is about the he most speed I could ever use on a track anyways. What I was looking for was less rotational weight, lower CG, and flatter handling in the tight corners, and the SSTe tires work good to h lol reach out hos goals. It also accelerates like a beast on 4s with those tires on dirt, without trying to loop out.
