I had heard shortly before this came out they were doing a remake of Adventure Island 1. I meant to check it out but forgot about it. Surprised I forgot about it since I did import the remake of Bonk 1. A few years back I read something that mentioned the remake so I checked out a video not really expecting much but I was shocked! It's indeed a full, stage for stage remake of Adventure Island 1! The visuals look great to me and the music got an excellent remake as well. This blows Super Adventure Island 1 for the Super NES out of the water! This remake is probably what Super Adventure Island 1 should have been, this is what I was expecting that to be honestly. It wouldn't have been terribly different from this visually. Would have liked to have seen Adventure Island 2 and 3 remade this way too. This should get re released on current consoles, I'd buy it. Both this and the Bonk 1 remakes were excellent.

Also recently found about it and will hunt for the gamecube version (there is also a ps2 one). Quite expensive but looks like a great piece to collect. Somehow i strongly feel that this remake might have the original as a unlockable but cant find any info on it. Most probably if such cheats exist, they will be on some japanese site. Interesting though why they made the main character and his girlfriend younger though ?

Es más fácil bajarlo de una página como gamesgx.net ahí lo encontré y lo puedo jugar en emulador o en mi consola usando mi memoria flash USB mediante lo que se llama FreeMcboot que es para correr apps en el PlayStation 2. Para Nintendo GameCube existe algo parecido, pero es por tarjeta SD.

Star Soldier también es de NES y tuvo remake para PS2 y Gamecube, de hecho forma parte de los "Hudson Selection" que son una serie de juegos hechos en formato de remake de los clásicos de Hudson, en el caso de star soldier es el segundo, y el remake de adventure island es el cuarto

Yo juge el Hudson Selection vol.2 Star Soldier, y DIOS, la acción esta solida, aunque reciclaron las mecánicas de la NES, se ve con más empeño en lo que son escenarios, y la música, los gráficos, no son la gran cosa, pero si disfrutable. La versión PSP de Star Soldier, se ve muy diferente a los de las versiónes Gamecube, y PS2.

Jomaster The Second yes it is. It is not a remake of the first game. Every stage is designed like New Adventure Island. Even the boss stages are castles, not forests. The enemies in them are found in New Adventure Island, not the original Wonder Boy/ Adventure Island.

While the boss of the first world on NES was in a castle, the actual stage is a forest, unlike New Adventure Island on Turbografx. That said, I think the level layout is more like the NES version, although I haven't compared them closely.

Adventure Island (remake), mas você vai encontrá-lo chamado "Hudson Vol. 04 takahashi meijin no bouken jima. Isso ocorre porque é como uma coleção de jogos Hudson, mas como eles não têm uma versão dos EUA, seus nomes são em japonês. Isto é para o play station 2 e o Gamecube
