I mean it's only fair since it takes 50 arrows to the head to kill an enemy in the new games.
@kyrin4083 жыл бұрын
Pretty false but ok. Only enemies that take arrows like that in Valhalla are the bosses. The game actually has a good balance of difficulty to just feeling like a badass. The bosses are definetely difficult and can one or two shot you but the basic enemies are pretty easy to defeat.
@edisontrent6183 жыл бұрын
@@kyrin408 A boss in an assassination game should be a high value target with a very intricate security detail. Lots of guards, watching each other, watching the paths, guards with focused lanterns surveying the rooftops and shadows every once in a while, tripwires connected to noise making devices, windows that are actually shuttered and locked from the inside, dogs that will hear you if you knock over a pebble fifty feet away. More health and more damage =/= "boss" in a stealth game.

The only true AC spin-off, which only lacks the Assassin-Templar War, the Precursors and their Pieces of Eden, and the Modern Day. It might as well have been in the AC Universe, only away from the influence of Assassins and Templars (which I like, I find it annoying when they place the two orders everywhere in Human History)

I'm kind of in the same boat. But if anything it does show an interesting shift in focus for a series' development. However i do find it completely unfair to call Valhalla a bad game just because your character doesn't get bothered much by arrows. Or calling Watch Dogs Legion bad just because you can run through water with no slowdown. (There's barely any shallow water in the game, comparing it to Black Flag which is covered in water with varying depth is simply unfair and far-fetched) The biggest problem with videos like these is they create a situation of: "if you like it then you're dumb cause that game is bad" "how is it bad?" "cAuSe YoU dOnT sTuMbLe FrOm ArRoWs REEEEEEEE" And it's the primary reason i fricking despise CrowbCat. The elitist complex it builds on is just ridiculous. Another awful case of this is with the Fallout series where the hivemind mentality is "NV good everything else terrible" with the only reason being "fallout 4's dialogue is bad and fallout 3 has a lame ending". Completely ignoring the positive traits of both games for the sake of having an extremist opinion. (And to clarify on an earlier point, Rabbit said he is having fun with Valhalla so he doesn't seem to be on some narrow-minded hate train. I think he just finds the differences amusing, which is perfectly fair)

@jvictor30483 жыл бұрын
Lol for real. The middling quality of recent AC games has resulted in lots of people overrating the old ones, apparently. I mean, I do agree that the Ezio trilogy is better than most of the post-Black Flag installments but these games have always been mediocre experiences with a few memorable aspects sprinkled throughout.
