In the early days of the show,I half-expected Alice to be the Joker to Kate's Batwoman. Instead, Alice has evolved to become her own person with her own character, almost a member of the Bat-family. You know, the snarky, sadistic, slightly homicidal auntie that no one likes to talk about,but that is reluctantly welcomed to the BBQ, because she brings the heat. Rather than becoming Ryan's nemesis, Alice has become the sister Ryan has never had.

the weirdness of it. alice murdered both of mary and ryan's moms(ryan's foster mom) and is actually bonding with them.

This show would be better if Kate Kane(Wallis Day) was still Batwoman and Greg Rucka was writing the series exclusively along with being on HBOMAX
