7:00 having away fans in stadiums helps improve the atmosphere. You are right they feed each other. The best times in my life were sitting in the clock end at Highbury with banter with the away fans. However we are too kind at Arsenal. The only thing I would change is maybe split away fans like Man United do. I've been to old Trafford and found that me and my son were at different corners of the stand with home fans in-between. Expand the Ashburton army behind the goal and penalty area and have a small pocket of away fans on either corners.

We should never have cut the ABA's allocation this year. We should also bin a load of corporate (club level) seats in favour of proper fans. We should also develop the 'unused seat' rule in the sense that, even if redistributed, a season ticket is invalid after two consecutive seasons of below half attendance. Loads of rich twats and old gits not attending or contributing to the atmosphere. Imagine how it would sound if everyone with a ticket had the passion to go with it. Caveat: there's loads of fantastic old gits too.

On the Coman chance off the post, I was also certain during build up that someone was miles off and goal would have had no chance at counting. Only way he could've been on was if opposite fullback was way out of position and we never got a decent look on US broadcast

A rather naive performance last night. I felt the early goal made us overly confident, committing too many forward in attacking phases. Fair play to Bayern, they played some lovely stuff and defended really well after it went to 2-2. Game On 👊🏼

I thought the Kane whack to Gabriels throat was dealt with no different to a prem ref and was wondering what would have constituted a red card . Perhaps a stern warning for decapitation death and dismemberment.

I really rate Raya these days, but what in the name of Zeus's butthole was he up to playing on the halfway line at 1-0? He has been solid this year with essentially zero accountability, and as soon as it's clinch he acts like a complete helmet. Jorgi has gotten a lot of flack for last night too but he was great IMO. I wish I could sit down and ask Bukayo if he played for the pen. It's so hard to tell but he does do it sometimes - if he is going for it, on this occasion in that scenario, after already bagging a worldie, just get your fucking plums out and win the game son. Oh well if we don't progress we are probably favourites next season. Ahead of schedule, trust the process etc 👊

Excellent show gentlemen I would love to see Zinchenko would be effective in midfield and I would concur what you both said about the left back position which is a real problem if Tommi is fit I would play him in lb for the rest of the season as I can't trust Kibior and Zinchenko is not a left back but it was not a penalty with Saka and if he had stayed on his feet who knows and if we had Kane as a cf who knows what we could achieve

If Leon Goretzka availabe in the summer market, is he improvement for our midfield, especially an upgrade for Jorginho or Partey so Rice can play in the number 8 role? I think he is a solid 6 or 8 with more physical presence.

Just re-watched. Always adds perspective. We were levels above Bayern and should have won 4-1 with all in consideration. By that metric, with lessons learnt, we should progress. Suggesting that Timber will be a rotation option for Ben White is nuts. They are both elite and fit what Arteta wants perfectly, so they both must be starters next year. It makes more sense for Timber to fill the Left Back hole then buy someone who is a rotation option for Ben White.

I always think the same ref Martinelli we want him to play because hes quick and direct, how against Villa for instance they are likely to play Konsa right back and Martinelli can get at him But truth is this season hes been pretty ineffective, rarely do you see him giving a full back a torrid time I remember Sevilla at home he tortured their right back first half, but thats pretty much the only time i remember him doing it this season He isnt actually deserving of a first 11 place based on form this season. He only is because of lack of options Dont know why we havent tried ESR there a few times, thats where he scored his goals from a couple of seasons back

My take was rice wasn't ineffective as left 8. Rather it was our front pressing as a whole wasn't effective in nibbing the bud of their counter or slowing their counter after we lost possessions in the final 3rd

Who plays on the left in Munich depends what type of game arteta is looking to do. Sit and count, perhaps it will be martinelli forte, and if we need to chase the game then maybe it will trossard My guess we will be playing deep in Munich on the outset so likely to start martinelli

A win would have been great but a draw would not be a bad result at least we don't have to play the same front foot game away which would really suit Bayern's sit and counter game and their defence isn't flawless as proven in their league games this season. We can switch and play this sit and counter game in the return leg

Tuchal is a wiley fox. He knows that no ref would have penalised Gabriel for handling the ball in the box. By raising the issue and the BS convo the ref had with his players, it deflects from the Saka incident and has his talking point takes over. He can say UEFA official robbed him heading into the 2nd leg and maybe influence next wks game.

Zinchenko has worried me since last year's latter part of the season. He was too emotional and he's prone to mistakes. When he first came, he was great and change of style but Arsenal have played a lot of this season without him and we've done well and I think this means our style has changed.

Declan doesn't pass through the lines as well as party or rice so hear me out declen at inverted left back he's athletic and good enough to do it he can sit next to jorginho and party inthe 8 because of his incredible passing as well that's 3 line brackers in midfield and defensive cover we would never loose the ball

Personally I think we just need to secure a solid 6 and then he is the solution to left 8 (with the possible romantic exception of Smith Rowe stepping up) . Rice starts in tandem with Martin and we are lethal. Can always drop into a double pivot with 6 if we're under the cosh. Won't have to worry about any of this next season when Timber is back, plus Kimmich, Gomes & Gyokeres 😂😂😂😂🔥

🔴 This is the champions league qtr finals, every team conceded goals in this round in the 1st leg. I generally believe that we can sit back and break-on the counter, just as they did to us at the Emirates. We can win this tie in Munich. Also this thing about Tomiyasu. I dont believe that him starting would've made a difference. Rice was more of a concern for me than Kiwior. Rice is not world class and has been found out against top class players. We need to pipe down with the whole Rice being the greatest thing since sliced bread. Very good player but thats it. Work needs to be done with him and is nowhere near Rodri 🔴

Likewise if we bring in Kimmich. I bloody love him but I think he's better utilised more centrally (even further forward) if we have the back covered. He can always drop in when we are defending 🤷

@@mikeebryant6296 I disagree he's not world class yet. I've watched Rice closely over the past 3 years especially in the 6 and when he is up against top opposing players he gets done and exposed. Look at his performance against France and Tchouameni in the 6 at the world cup. Absolutely schooled by him. Also against Porto in the first leg he is part of the reason we conceded that late goal. Against Bayern Musiala and Goretzka had him on toast. Positionally he was poor and doesn't read the game well against top opposition. When he plays against world class players he gets done so how can he be world class? He's a very good player and has the potential to go up a notch but in my opinion he is not there yet. There's work to be done.
