Just bowled my first nationals and it hooked a ton more than I expected. There was an out of bounds but if you executed, the shots were playable.

Good choice of equipment and surfaces. You don’t want anything too shiny this year especially. Personally, I’d squeeze your Phaze II into the lineup, replacing the Burner Solid. My stuff was too strong and or too jumpy this year.

I finished nationals in early April. My arsenal was Halo solid, Idol, Zen, Parallax effect and uc3. Team event was the Zen for all 3. Looked fantastic. Doubles/Singles started with UC3 then transitioned to a mix between the parallax effect and Zen. My solids looked terrible all weekend.

For me personally I like that the burner solid has a higher diff than the others plus it’s smoother

I watched your live feed last night from the city tournament and I noticed your approach was much faster(feet )you seem in more control when slower. I will be there next month. I'm bringing my iq tour, purple hammer, and a thrill surfaced with 500. I have alot of revs and alot of hand. This will be my first trip to the nationals. Wondering if these balls will be good choices? I know without seeing you can't be positive but any comment will be appreciated.

I'd be surprised (very surprised) if you can play that far left at Nats. Not because you don't have the talent, but because it's so touchy. The only consistent shots were right of 12. Most of the big scores and sets were right. Doesn't mean that will be the same for you guys.

I disagree with your stance on releasing the pattern. Just for the fact that some will have access to lane machines at their disposal and practice on the shot more than others. Which is unfair to those without that access. I would have that access and wouldn’t want that advantage. It makes the open that much more prestigious and about shot making and decision on the fly.

Okay so there’s nothing prestigious about the open championships lol and even if we have access to the pattern it’s still a different machine than the one they use at nationals on a different set of lanes in a different state with different climate. It’ll NEVER play anywhere near the same as it will at nationals. If people are going to be flying across the country to bowl this even the least they can do it allow them the info to be prepared

@@LuisNapoles it’s prestigious to people with 30-40-50 year consecutive appearances. I understand the climate and different lane conditions etc. so it’ll never be exact. I promise you if Someone practiced on the pattern at their center for 3 months vs someone with the same average that goes in blind will have better success. Because it’s similar and you still have to make shots on the pattern you’re practicing on lol you even claimed in the video the team patterns are not too much different
