One of the greatest similes you'll ever hear, Gabriel's screams are: "A bit like a throttled chicken". Nailed it James!

Saka is absolutely our most important player. No doubt about it.

Every single goal we've scored so far this season has come off a Saka touch. Every single one! What are we even talking about?!! 4 assists? All 6 goals!!! We are not talking about the quality of this player properly.

According to rivals "he's overrated" but no player in the league has more assists than Saka 😂

Big Gabi is the man. I think he slips under the radar sometimes but he's genuinely one of the best defenders in the world in my opinion. The fact he also knocks a fair few in the other end every season is a big bonus
@Jim_Milton293 ай бұрын
Not sure about one of the best. He struggles a bit against the best and still has his bozo moments sometimes in the biggest game- Bayern last year; but yeah, he's severely underrated by people outside the club.

@Never_Wr0ng he's defo in the top 10 defenders in the world..him and saliba are THE best defensive partnership in the world right now if I'm honest..they compliment each other extremely well..VAMOS

@@Jim_Milton29 Saliba has those moments as well - big errors is not really something I associate with Gabi. Hot take maybe, but I find it easier to appreciate Gabi as a defender. Seems to get his head/foot on even more things than Saliba. Saliba is more elegant and has more impressive individual moments, but for me Gabi is essentially on par with Saliba defensively.

28:45 totally agree with that. We went for years with one of our players getting assaulted and no reaction whatsoever from teammates. Not saying they should go in fists flying (once in a while maybe :) ). But they should go over and support their mate on the ground. Always annoyed the crap out of me.

48:00 the foul by Jesus in injury time was similar to the infamous Pepe incident against Leeds (I think) a few years ago. Arteta never forgave the winger for that error.

I've been saying since last year that Vicario is a liability at set pieces. Teams last year found this out and peppered him and he was flapping all the time. My nephew (Spurs fan) said he thought Vicario is better than Raya. Nope. Never. No chance. Ange has to fix this or he's stuffed. On the team, Martinelli is under threat from Sterling, and I expect he'll get the start on Sunday given his City past. Martinelli does great defensive work, but his attacking is found wanting. Arsenal's defence of Calofiori, Gabriel, Saliba, White and Timber is looking imperious. Arteta will need to do enough rotating to keep them all happy.

Sterling lost the ball twice. No way Martinelli is dropped.

God damnit the title is just so good this week. Dreams can’t be buy lads
I remember a NLD under Emery where it all kicked off. They surrounded one of our players and tried to get him sent off until the Tank arrived on the scene and basically ended any argument. spuds had 2 or 3 big players and they stopped their aggression when our LB intervened. People used to take the piss out of him but I always rated him. Every team needs atleast one tough guy

I'm unsure about relying on Partey moving forward. He could be useful off the bench, but he's not the same player anymore. Every time he starts finding his rhythm, he will get injured. I'd love to see Arteta try Zinchenko in midfield, as it would allow us to keep Havertz up front consistently. This change would also strengthen our left side significantly with timber and Martinelli, letting Ødegaard stay on the right side while Declan stays back to reinforce the defense even further.

Thanks for not mentioning Sterling. I don't count him yet until he proves he is not being the Sterling who is shit. And his aimless dribble didn't help

Ref 24 mins - The discourse around Martinelli is due to the fact his end product for roughly a whole season's worth of games has been pretty woeful.
