Partially disagree with James about Saka. The amount of minutes he’s played at his age is too much for his long term career. If he continues to play this much he’ll break down by the time he’s 28/29. Imo the title is over without him and I think the overuse and lack of rotation of key players last couple years has cost us this season

White is the worst culprit at throw ins 😂. He had a throw in one time, I left the house and went to the cinema, Oppenheimer actually. I returned home just in time to see him take the throw.

My problem with the throw-in situation is again, Arsenal seems to be getting disproportionately punished. You can make an argument for time-wasting and MLS took some extra yards but I've seen so many examples of other teams taking even more blatant liberties with it going unpunished. Same with the Raya situation. Somehow we've been deemed the main 'dark arts' side which is ridiculous.

A ref once told one of our players off for time wasting on a throw-in in a cup final. We were 1-0 down at the time!

We aren't wasting time with the throw-ins, we're slowing the game down to quiet the crowd. It's blatantly obvious. Everyone can see it and it's actually having the opposite effect on the opposition crowd. We need to stop doing it.

We can still loan players. Not PL players though. As we have 2 PL players on loan already. Everton has 4 players on loan. 2 from the league, and 2 outside. But thats the total amount you can have on loan: 4.

I strangely felt that Arsenal team reminded me of how we played for the season after we signed Jesus where he was awesome untill his injury and the media were predicting us to have fallen off before the World Cup and Nketiah came in and we did alright until we lost it in March with Partey & Saliba getting injured I think... A big part of it though was probably Palaces approach to play rather than just set up with a low block...

We definitely have been taking the piss with the time wasting all season long 😅 Agreed on a general point that you don't throw the ball if there's zero target but 1/ we had been warned 2/ you _know_ they're clearly looking at us for time wasting due to the reputation we built lately. When you know that's what's happening and you still do it? That's on you. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Is it unfair? Is the application a bit stupid? Sure. But we KNOW we're dealing with PGMOL clowns so can't give them any reasons to book us. This said, it's disgusting that PGMOL focuses more on such nonsense rather than on protecting players with dangerous tackles. The latter is supposed to be their #1 job. 😤

I feel it’s more our shape and Rice not being the 6 has impacted our defence. Having said that, we have the joint best defence in the league now.

I thought the ref was as good as we've had this season TBH (low bar admittedly). The throw in was taking ages and we had that coming. At least a cheap yellow card didn't cost us points this time.

It's no surprise. On the right, Saka has all the support. Usually, an overlapping White, Odegaard tends to play more down the right. Martinelli is very isolated on the left usually with our left backs inverting pretty much all the time.

Arteta has a knack of transforming players that are about to be shipped out. Jesus in top form is so crucial now esp after Saka’s injury. We need more ways to score goal and it would have been a hard time with Saka’s injury if we didn’t have a natural finisher like Jesus who hit the form in the right moment as an option for Arteta to come up with more goals. Considering Saka is our son, it left a bitter taste in all of our mouths. It’s unbelievable that I’m skipping moments of Saka injury during watching highlights because I just can’t take it.
