People don't appreciate him for the Emirates years enough. He was a manager and economist simultaneously during that period. Finding young players on the cheap, turning them into superstars and selling them on for a profit is no joking matter. You can't compare the league he was managing to the league today. In his day there were 2 teams and then a third one came along. Man Utd, Arsenal and then Chelsea. Today, just look at the quality of the managers alone: Ancelloti, Guardiola, Klopp, Mouhino. Leicester is number 3 in the table, did that ever happen in his day. It's a different league and Arsene Wenger in my opinion was one of the most overrated managers in the Prem league simply because he had a french accent and sounded sophisticated. Love the statement at the end about people not challenging themselves to improve...so sad and true. Chelsea fan here and have much respect for AW. As a Wolves fan. I still remember the times when I loved watching Arsenal play under Wenger. They played great attacking football and were highly entertaining. Now, when I watch arsenal. They seem to be missing elements in their game. There is very little grit and determination in the team and players seem to be happy with the salary alone. If they want to be a great team again, they need to have the right personalities and direction to be successful again. Wenger is a massive loss to the game. I hope he makes a return in the future.

Im a gunner but I beleive its waste this man being a football manager, even at Arsenal. His knowledge and his understanding of the beautiful game, business side off football, knowledge on legislation, his pull of people from all over the world by being a world person speaking so many different languages....hes perfectly suitable to be the head of FIFA or UEFA where he will make changes that will benefit everyone just how he changed EPL from nothing to be the most exciting league in the world
