While I agree that we should not get attached to the Bhagavad Gita (BG) as a “thing”, the BG is not a “thing” for Advaita Vedantins like me. We view the BG as a manisfestation of Ishvara which will dispel our mistaken belief that we exist apart from Ishvara. Hence, our seeming attachment to the BG is actually attachment to Ishvara which we already are according to the BG. Since, logically, one cannot attach oneself to oneself, our seeming attachment to the BG is not an attachment at all ultimately!

It is not about attachment vs non attachment; it is about realizing why all is flux. 💛

@@waldwassermann I was intrigued by your assertion that “all is flux”. The logic of that assertion escapes me somehow. By asserting “all is flux” we are implying that the validity of the assertion “all is flux” is not in flux. If the validity of “all is flux” is not in flux, then clearly we cannot validly assert that “all is flux”. What gives?
