Aspirants, in the latest edition of art and culture by Nitin Singhania, it is written that mother goddess statue was found at Harappan but actually it was found at Mohenjodaro. So, kindly ammend this mistake in the book if you're preparing from that.
@A-SS562 жыл бұрын
it was found in Harappa along with many other sites, due to its large numbers only it was considered that it might have some religious values

1:14:00 Mam, if arch was made by Chandragupta Maurya for Lomas Rishi Cave in around third century BCE, then why do historians claim that arch was introduced for the first time in India by Persians in 12th century by Delhi Sultanate?
@justanotherupscaspirant88372 жыл бұрын
She cleared it. In the Lomas Rishi cave, the arches were "CARVED" out in stone, whereas Mughals introduced "CONSTRUCTION" of arches. Its easy to draw an arch into a stable stone wall, but the techniques for keystones and freestanding arches were not yet known in the subcontinent

@@AM-ut4mj I'm willing to bet you'd become one of those parents who compare their kid's every achievement to Sharmaji ka beta and make them feel terrible about themselves because "if he can do it why can't you? Stop giving excuses" and hate you when they grow up. On a lighter note, your Kailasha temple example just proved my point. In the Lomas Rishi cave, the arches were "CARVED" out from stone, like the Kailasha temple, whereas Mughals introduced "CONSTRUCTION" of arches. Refer any architecture video for better clarity I sincerely wish you the best in your CSE prep
