Thank so you much for this. The mesh wall online were soooooo expensive. The mesh tarp is such a great and inexpensive alternative. Shout out to your smart self!

To elaborate on the Flourish mesh panels....the reason they are that expensive is because they're designed to hang artwork. I haven't run into another company that makes these kinds of mesh (heavy duty) that can hold a 30lb framed print. You might see some that look similar on Amazon but I doubt they'd be able to withstand the weight of the artwork, kind of guessing here. Another thing, higher end Art Fairs do require you to submit Booth Setup photos, most of those shows are Juried. So if you've got bungee cords holding your booth together (nothing wrong with that) it might impede you from getting into some of those shows.

I have set up both Eurmax and EZ-up tents, and I prefer the Eurmax. They are not all that different, but Eurmax has a much better carrying case, and more options for add- ons.

Glad you like the Eurmax.

No problem, glad I could help. I'm going to do an update on art tent/booth. It's gonna be an update on other items I use to display art. Follow to check out when the video comes out.

Having two people to set up the tent is definitely easier, but I have seen many people do it alone. I can set mine up with just a bit of help. Taking the tent down is much easier and I have no problem doing it myself. If you are a solo vender you can ask your neighbor for help for a minute. Most people are very happy to help.

Yeah I found ways to make the setup easier.

Love your video! Your voice is so relaxing and I liked seeing your setup. I too went through flouish to get something smaller in price cause it really adds up there! I bought their indoor booth setup, and turns out I don't like doing indoor shows so it wasn't too wasteful maybe around $300. Def wasn't trying to invest 1k + on something there. I like your ideas about going other places and adding onto your booth. I did get some stand alone metal walls to hang up art, but am not using those currently. I settled on displaying my art prints by putting them in baskets for people to flip through. A shorter setup seems to be the key for me. I also have a eazy up tent that takes me maybe 5 min and then one of those euromax ones like you do for shows that last longer than a day. They are a pain to setup and I have done them alone which is hellish ughh Much better to have help if you can for those!

Thank you for leaving a comment. Yeah setting up for a show can be hellish. Usually I was exhausted for days when I get a one or two day event. And if it was three days I was exhausted for the rest of the week. Funny enough though my set-up had completely changed since I moved to the UK. Over here when you buy a stall generally they give you a table and chair. So pretty soon I'm going to do a follow up video on a new setup and maybe compare it to setting up in the US. Feel free to follow the channel, I plan on doing a lot more videos and live videos as well. Also for the indoor booth I forgot the website but look into panel walls. Try looking on Facebook market first or Craigslist for indoor panels. That was going to be my next move. I rarely did an indoor show. Being in Florida and all, most of it was out doors. Why did you not like the indoor show?

Do you think it would work with just the tarps I mean the tent with out the side walls?

Oh yeah I've done that plenty of time where it's just the mesh tarp. It will work. 😁👍

If I am doing a show just as a hobby and don't have an actual business established, is it ok not to have a banner of sorts?
@SDLartsandcrafts3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for leaving a comment. I've been going to a few shows and while I've seen people with banners in their tent, I don't think it's necessary to have a banner. Try a few art/farmer markets first and see if that is something you like. I hope this answer helps.

don't call it Velcro...Velcro® is a trade name of hook and loop fasteners.
