I'm so glad the door knobs turned out so well. Some flippers tend to replace the original knobs with the modern ones and sometimes it makes me groan from disappointment. I'm really passionate about the original knobs. :D

The white wash really helped bring out a different color to these pieces. I saw a lot of these style night stands while stationed in Germany, were very common in rental units. 😊

I've messed up a few veneer spots I know how frustrating it is, however the result looks great! They look like pickled oak that was really popular here in the USA in the 90s. Your little boy is a such a cherub 👼 thanks for sharing him ❤️

Sadly the glass was missing from both of the tables. If I was keeping them I would have replaced but is this case, it was not worth the expense when reselling. Thank you :)

Good question! I had no intention of replacing the glass myself but thought the new owner might. I did consider removing them but because I hadn't seen a piece of furniture with them before, I opted to keep them on as to keep the pieces as original as possible.

White wash made a huge difference & I like it when people keep the original knobs, but I don't like these ones sadly!🤔😉 I subscribed because I like what you're doing, but I suggest you keep it varied and unusual (everybody seems to be doing mid-century modern).

Quick question: your hardware cleanup trick..was that all 3 ingredients combined as in mixed together or 3 separate steps one after the other? I don't want to create an explosion!! Lol. I can't believe you found such a cool pair of nightstands. Out here in California plenty of singles but sadly it's rare to come across a pair. They turned out beautiful!!

Great question! Separately :) The acetone removes the clear coating, the bar keepers friend cleans them up and the polish - you guessed it, polishes :) Thank you for watching!
