Great work 1:40 I can see the motion of it spinning not because I’m schizo but because Dmt and other psychedelics I’ve seen similar imagery. Definitely part of the collective unconscious but definitely feels like seeing the universe more closely related to reality.

Ezekiel 1:15-18 "As I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces. This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: They sparkled like topaz, and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel. As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced; the wheels did not change direction as the creatures went. Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around."

Om NamaShivaya Thank you for sharing, dear soul💙🙏 May I ask: have you heard of Shiva? He is also called Mahadev-the God of gods and of demons, goblins, ghosts etc. He rules them all. He is said by the ancients to have eyes and mouths everywhere. In His standard form, He has three eyes. Have you heard that in India, when people have schizophrenia very often their experiences are less negative because the beings you see are believed in-they are a normal and necessary part of this whole samsara. Please know you are valuable, as you are. You are important. You are loved. May you find peace, dear soul. Btw-INCREDIBLE art!!!💙🙏

I have not recently hallucinated much. If I draw for awhile and close my eyes I'll see some good ideas to draw. But then, I'm not drawing much these days spending my time on guitar. I stopped reading because I wasn't enjoying it. I could do it for a job if I had one. My voices are on an endless loop of self abuse. It makes me wonder if life really is about being somebody?

When you’re having intense visuals does it effects your consciousness? (Can you think normally while seeing things?) Also do you ever se checker boards?
@MyOddExperiences
@MyOddExperiences 3 жыл бұрын
Before being medicated my hallucinations were more vivid and felt real, they supported my delusions. Now that I’m on meds I still have hallucinations but they’re mild, only being distracting. The biggest problem I have is with reading because text distorts or shimmers. I don’t see checker boards but patterns like checker boards seem to distort more. That or it’s just easier to see the distortion on regular patterns.

I'm going to ask a question and if for any reason it's inappropriate or you just prefer to not answer, I will understand and will respect that. You said you didn't consider the hallucinations when you were a kid to be anything that you thought about in terms of how you relate the hallucinations later in your life. Did realize they were hallucinations as a child and/or did you realize that other kids don't typically experience them? Hopefully it's not an inappropriate question or something you are hurt by my asking. That's not my intention. Thanks so much for your time.
@MyOddExperiences
@MyOddExperiences 3 жыл бұрын
You don’t have to worry about asking questions! Ask anything! I don’t remember saying “kid” but if I did I meant at age 15-19. At that time I had infrequent hallucinations that were mostly very subtle which made me doubt whether they were happening. I talked to doctors and they had no reason at the time to suspect schizophrenia as I didn’t have psychosis. Some doctors thought it could be neurological like a form of epilepsy that didn’t require treatment
@rjchavers9267

@@MyOddExperiences you didn't use the term "kid." I'm old, so teen's seem like kids to me. No disrespect. Thanks for the explanation. That, for me, is understandable. Again, you're really talented. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to see your work. Great stuff.👍

Imagine you watched weird music videos several hours a day, every single day. You just become numb to it and it becomes annoying at worst. That's at least how I feel now that I'm not delusional and my hallucinations don't impact my perception of actual reality.

I’ve been very busy getting back into school and working on projects. I’m doing very well right now, and things are looking good moving forward. In all honesty, I’m not feeling all that passionate about making mental health videos. I intend to make more, but I may end up making this more of an art channel where mental health is also discussed.

bro, do your hallucinations startle you, maybe when you're about to sleep? I do hope not. Maybe you got "used to them" so you don't get scared? Or do you have negative feelings when they occur? Or, again, by now you don't make a big deal of the phenomenon when it occurs?

It looks like u took psychedelics an saw these things. I bet there’s a connection to schizophrenia & psychedelics
@MyOddExperiences
@MyOddExperiences 2 жыл бұрын
Conventional psychedelics like LSD and mushrooms touch the same receptors as a lot of antipsychotics, but have a near opposite effect. This implies that these receptors have something to do with schizophrenia, but schizophrenia seems to affect more receptors than those that psychedelics do. Even when psychedelics touch the same receptors, the experience for each are distinctly different. Same with schizophrenia, there are similarities but it is very different from these drugs. Schizophrenic hallucinations and ones induced by hallucinogens can be very similar, but schizophrenia is more auditory rather than visual for most. My case is more visual and the things I see are commonly seen on these drugs and by other schizophrenics with visual hallucinations. I don’t have hallucinations that are very significant anymore, except at night while under the effects of my sedative antipsychotics. They put me in somewhat of a dreamlike state where I hallucinate often. My more recent art is based off of those hallucinations or my dreams.

@MyOddExperiences
@MyOddExperiences 3 жыл бұрын
There are definitely some similarities between my hallucinations and the ones that come from psychedelics. Schizophrenia is rarely euphoric though, I wouldn't recommend it :/ I have dissociated before but not from psychosis, it was likely a stress response. That's the closest I've been to ego death, which isn't really close at all. Psychosis can make you lose your sense of reality and make you perceive yourself differently. If anything though, psychosis can amplify your ego into something bigger like seen in delusions of grandeur.
