The Gamma is my paper of choice most times for paintings. Even though it is student quality it can take a lot of techniques. My favourite sketchbook from all manufacturers is from Renesans - it is high quality Fabriano - but not easy to get hold of these days. I like Roman Szmal paints as well as Renesans tube paints.

hello @lynnbradshaw6279 so kice to hear that someone is indeed using the Gamma watercolor paper and glad to know about your feedback as I have only tested it once. I will checkout the sketchbook from Renesans as well, hopefully I can find them. Do you live in Poland or you have an art store near you that carries Polish art materials? @@theartistelizabeth Hello Elizabeth, I work for a Polish company so I spend a lot of time in Poland during the year. I live about 80km east of Krakow and know the art shops where you bought your supplies very well. For some reason, good quality watercolour paper has been hard to come by in my part of Poland. I am going to try the own brand paper from PaperConcept next week - they use the same manufacturer as ZenArt.

Hello again and so nice to hear that you are quite near to Krakow and know exactly where the Szał art stores are as those art stores are awesome! Very friendly staff too! I would lave loved to visit Paperconcept as well! Hopefully on my next visit. I will hoard more of the Gamma paper then! Thanks for the tip about it!
