Art Journal, Art Journal Idea, Art Journal Inspiration, ArtJournaling, Art Journal for a Rainy Day

This is one of my favorite ideas for an art journal, especially when I am feeling down. Start by writing down all of your feelings, anxieties, etc. Then start to layer over the words with acrylics. I like to use colors that make me happy and simple shapes, especially florals. By the time I’m done, my negative feelings are gone and I have a beautiful piece of art.

I started out by writing down everything I was feeling on a particularly rough day. Then I painted over it with things that made me happy. I love doing this because I feel so much better afterwards 😊
