In this video, I'm excited to share a flip through of two art journals I've recently completed! I always have several journals in progress, so it takes time to finish one. The first journal is a small Tag journal, where I started with gelli printed backgrounds and added layers of collage, drawing, and painting. I also incorporated my own stickers, stencils, stamps, and collage papers to make each page unique.
The second journal is medium-sized and part of a collaboration with Lena from Finland. We exchanged journals as part of a KZbin collaboration, posting a new page each month. However, I also worked on many pages off-camera, so you'll get a peek at some unpublished pages in this video. Like the Tag journal, this one is a mixture of mixed media techniques-painting, drawing, collage, and more.
I hope you enjoy this flip through and find some inspiration for your own art journals!
