What a great idea to use that wrapping paper first. Loved looking at your holiday photos as here in Cape, Town, it is winter and cold and wet. What a beautiful island and wouldn't mind seeing more of your photos. Another amazing page, this is going to be a really stunning journal when completed. Have a blessed weekend.

❤❤❤Thank you, beautiful as usual, I find myself looking at your page to see what I’ve missed then I see a new video and was very excited. The music was PERFECT, I appreciate you. And the trip was also very entertaining, all was so beautiful except and that hill, I’d have to make sure I have a spare $3000 just to be on the safe side. lol… Thank you for acknowledging me and my feedback. You definitely have a fan in me.. have a great life. ❤

4:42 I used to do that all the time with my mosaic art. Take a picture and look at the picture. It's almost like looking at it through somebody else's eyes...

I live in Northern Michigan, near Cadillac and I’ve visited Mackinaw Island many times! I’ve even had the opportunity to stay at the Grand Hotel! Love the pictures and your journal spread!

Love your finished page! I also loved seeing your beautiful vacation photos. When I saw that Grand Hotel, it seemed very familiar. And then when you said two films were shot there, I thought I remembered seeing it in Somewhere in Time. I googled it to make sure, but yep, that’s the one. It was almost like a character in the movie.

Honestly, it's one of the best art videos I've seen in a very long time! I am disabled with a physical ailment, so I am home a lot ,and I watch the tons of art utube, this was enjoyable!

Beautiful! And, I liked the travel photos. I've always wanted to visit Mackinac Island. It really is gorgeous. I've really got to get back to my composition art journal too. I've been playing with my new Castle Arts Harmonious pencils instead. Welcome home! 💜

Enjoy watching your artwork, wondering are you an art major? I have everything i need to start art journaling and I’ve hesitated cuz everyone I see seems to be able to draw. I don’t know how to draw nor am I an art major but love what you do and find it relaxing. BTW loved your pics…. Looks like a lovely place. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for watching. I am not an art major. I've never formally studied art. I do not know how to draw either! Haha. The wonderful thing about art journaling is that you don't have to audition or qualify to be an artist. You are human, therefore you are a creative being. Try not to over think it. Make marks, make mistakes, make bad art, play with colors you like, imitate what you like. You don't have to start with any skills to develop skills. Just start playing. If you're not thrilled with the process, copy someone else's until you feel more confident. That's how we all learn and there are a million tutorials out there. You are always welcome to "borrow" any of my ideas or do a "copycat" page. I don't always love how every page turns out, but I make it my goal to be relaxed and find pleasure in the process. If I enjoyed the process but not the result, it still served it's purpose.
