Welcome to my first art log! In this video, I’m diving into the process of designing a sci-fi environment for a first-person shooter (FPS) narrative game. It’s a bit of a deep dive into how I approach level design, working through the basics of layout, world-building, and figuring out the right art direction to bring the scene to life.
I’ll walk you through my thought process as I sketch out initial ideas, block out the level, and refine the environment into something that’s not only visually cool but also works for gameplay. If you're into sci-fi world design, game dev, or just want to see how an environment evolves, come along for the ride!
It’s all about experimenting, making mistakes, and refining ideas-so you’ll see the whole process, start to finish.

have you tried ai over top the grey geometry?

No but I've seen it. possibly a good jumping off point to get a sense of things perhaps, but in my experience with AI, I still don't get the fine control of the designs I'm after.
