Lol avoiding eye contact while customers shop is so true, it can be so hard to know where to look while people are shopping (another perk of a helper, you can talk to them so it feels less deliberate 😂). Stickers are always my best seller too, with prints being less frequent. Wagons are SO helpful, highly recommend for anyone doing markets!!

I’ve been doing markets for 3 years now and all of your tips were great! I would also add that if your craft is something you can carry with you customers love engaging and seeing what you’re making. I will either crochet, macrame or do wire wrapped rings during the market and between checking out my customers.

It looks really pretty having all of your designs on the cork board! it's such a clever idea too as I've heard stories of stickers being stolen when they're displayed in boxes ❤

Dang that’s so so good for 3 hours!! I think little pop up things like that are the best because then you’re not there for super long hours.

Thanks so much for being transparent on your art market results! I’ve only done a few but have learned I need to focus on the demographic better.

Just a suggestion, but they have some really great battery operated fans at Lowe’s, probably at Home Depot too. They last quite awhile and also have a water hookup if you’d like mist. I’m also a vendor in Texas and this heat is no joke, so I never go to an outdoor market without it!

Great video. Lots of helpful tips. I have a question. Do you specifically design prints and stickers or do you find they arise naturally from your art?

Just found ur channel! I’d love if u could do a vid overviewing how u got started as an artist! Did u start early with social media/how long it took to get to certain steps and just your journey. I like the idea of making a small art business but it feels daunting without knowing where to start.

i started in 2020 and because of the pandemic people started to really love art content!! my advice would be invest into your business in small amounts and start it for fun or as a hobby! if it grows great and if it doesn’t also great!! art should be fun above everything else
