Diesel Plays I like the Fab I'm a good shot and if u crouch it reduces the gun sway and if u lay down it reduces the sway even more. Also why do they have to make the fab look really weird?

this is very theorical i assume this is purely a kind of theory crafting but you forgot something very important to mention on the fabricated sniper rifle. If you let the trigger on, the first 2 shots wont have any recoil. So if you shoot burst shoots of 2 bullets you have pretty much 100% accurate which longneck doesnt provide.

Another advantage that the fabricated rifle has is that it comes with a scope already attached, and this doesn't take up an attachment slot. This basically allows you to have two attachments at once.

It’s pretty clear that most of the fabricated weapons were made for PVP, maybe with the exception of the shotgun which is decent in singleplayer/PvE. Fabricated is garbage compared to what a longneck can do with how versatile it is.

Each one seems to be suited for a scenario. Genuine sniping with little chance of being found I’d go longneck. If it might turn into a closer range shootout and your scouting then fab sniper... but to each their own! Good video.

The longneck rifle focuses on doing as much damage as possible in one bulletins the sniper rifle focuses on doing damage over time with powerful bullets

May depend on the situation, having both could give you more flexibility during combat, the longneck could be used more for breaking armor and precision shots, and the sniper rifle when being at a risky zone (being airborne, stealth raids or with someone nearby, and after breaking the enemy’s armor, it could be used to finish them off).

I crafted my first one and got really excited, 2 stacks of ammo in it broke and i needed to spend craploads just to repair it, I said screw it and stuck with my trusty longneck. Worst part is i unloaded all of it on a high level alpha megalodon and it didnt even die. :(

I agree with you like 75%, because both are good for pvp, and for the pve aspect, longneck shoots torpor darts which is good for taming, and fab sniper has a really good dps which is good for cave raids, the ones you can't bring tames in

You can lay down to reduce the movement during aiming, i prefer the sniper rifle because laying down you can shot fast and score 2 or 3 head shots before you need to adjust.

Good video but I think the conclusion is a bit off. The fab sniper is more lower skill because u get more opportunities to shoot unlike the longneck which is one shot, but at the same time u need more skill to hit more shots with the fab,so I'm rly confused. What do u think?

Easy choice. You get a 200% longneck bp that's 560 to the body. TBH though i think it's easier to break armour with fabbi as you gotta land several shots to get through it but once they lost their armour just one shot them with a decent longneck
