+4 Fake I think we are a little to evolved to dumb everything down to black and white. Treach thinks Eminem is great too and so do many other rap greats (such as ice T obviously). People need to stop dumbing everything down to making it all about white people and people who don't listen to other great rappers. That's dishonest and ignorant.

In my opinion i think MMLP2 was Em's attempt at trying to appeal to the newer generation of kids and the older generation that grew up listening to him but at the same time also carry a general concept and closure throughout the album. Bad Guy was a sequel to Stan and possibly contains one of his most spectacular verse of all time on the second beat where he acknowledges the fact he is not as good as he was back when he first came out. Headlights he ends the shit with his mother. Legacy he takes us through a timeline of when he was a sad child to making his dreams reality. Evil Twin and The Monster he comes to terms with his dark side (Slim). Rap God he basically spits fire for a straight 6 minutes and Rhyme or Reason he disses the fuck out of his father. MMLP2 was a lyrical masterpiece and by far his most technical project to date.

Wow, this is honestly one of the best comments I've read about MMLP2. I think Em is a genius for creating a sequel to his most successful album. Not only because he just threw it out there out of the blue, but just how he synthesized it. It wasn't like The Hangover 2 where they just make more fucked up scenarios that are redundant or Family Guy's new seasons where the writers endeavor to rekindle the old flame it had back in the day by calling out new celebrities and media. Comparatively, you don't see Em rapping about graphic imageries or celebrities as much as he used to because he's grown. He went on another route, which was revisiting old topics and tackling on them as a changed man... More mature, older, and sober. This LP is really overlooked because the fans expected the old stuff again. Oh well, props to folks like you who respect Em's genius approach at a sequel. More importantly, props to Em.

The crazy thing about Em is, all the regular interviews I've seen him do and special guest appearance I've seen, he always has the same angry facial expression; this is the first time I've actually seen him smile and look comfortable in an interview and look genuinely happy. I guess that's what being around your own kind does. I was the same way, just kept quiet and to myself until I was in the studio with my crew and banging song after song! Great interview!!

bigmanting losvegas I'll answer your question with a question. Do you at times find yourself more reserved when around people that you are not familiar with or aren't in your immediate circle of friends and family like co-workers or random acquaintances? And when you are finally around those who you truly care about or with friends and others who share in the same interests and passions, are you able to be more open, more sincere, more like your true self? If so then you should be able to understand where my comment came from...

Eminem felt comfortable cause Ice T cause is a rapper so they relate in alot of ways. I remember Eminem was on 60 minutes getting inverviewed buy Anderson Cooper and Em was talking about how he creates and write his music. Eminem had a box with envelopes, pads, books and sticky notes the lyrics were written very small Cooper asked Eminem how do you read this it's tiny? Eminem said I know what is says. Then Cooper interrupted Eminem buy saying I see crazy people do things like this. Dat really pissed me off calling one of the greatest rappers of all time crazy. Em looked fucked off when he said dat

He remembers the lyrics to songs he heard 28 and 21 years ago (respectively), damn. They were obviously very important to him, as one (Yoke the Joker) he heard when he finally knew that rap is what he wanted to do with his life and made him realise how great some artists were at the craft, and the other (Reckless) is the first hip hop song he ever heard. Legend.

Still fucking incredible performer, but seeing 70,000 Japanese fans move him to tears when they could engrish their way through 'Lose Yourself' after not touring there for 9 years, you could tell it meant a lot to him. I think what makes Eminem so great and in my opinion the Best Rapper EVER, is that he keeps trying to better himself, there's no limit for him not even the sky, he's studies Rap, the words, his rhyming is like none other, he said it himself that he lives it, he's constantly thinking and creating rhymes, he fiesta settle for good or average, he goes to for the best he can on the mic and that's why he is what he is today, the GOAT in Rap

Seeing Eminem (“a white cat”, an iconic legend, a grand master) with an iconic legend, a grand master, the person/role model who got Eminem into wrapping, and have such a conversation that gives us a tiny peak into their musical thoughts, is very special. Both sooo brilliant in what they do. ❤️💪🔊🎤🎶⚡️🔥💥☮️

I love that they had a good time. It's great to see rappers behind the scenes. Usually when I think of Slim & Nickel Nina I don't imagine them getting along with other MCs.

Don't say there is no meaning just because you don't understand it. MMLP2 has more meaning than most of Em's albums.

Clover Jetz The MMLP2 covered a broad spectrum of topics but the overall album was about growth and self-realization. Eminem has come to a point where he has escaped drugs an is finally looking back on his life with sober eyes. He's re-examining the person he was, while illustrating the person he's become. He settles the beef with his mother, and adresses several other topics such as his hypocrisy when it comes to how disrespectful he is towards women (when he would kill anyone who talked that shit about his daughters).

“Drunk as fuck, one sock, pulling my boxers up/ with boxing gloves/ but I keep dropping my fucking binoculars.” Eminem paints a hilarious picture. He drops so many lyrics that some bars like these get overlooked. He’s a master.

Marshall is by far the greatest rapper I have ever witnessed. Like if you think he's so corny or is over rated, seriously sit down and try to write like he does. Even when he does decide to drop the mix he'll still produce and help others. Dude is a lyrical master mind.

This is why no one can tell me nothing about em. You can tell he looks up to Ice, respects him, the culture and his craft. Em is the type who is willing to try anything so it's either he's going to sound bad or he's going to make a hit that doesn't sound like anything else.

I love the puzzle line sometimes when I'm writing something it will take me a few days or weeks to understand what I initially was trying to do. I'm going to break you guys off something real right now Einstein said the formula for genius is 1% genius 99% work! Think about when you get an idea, it comes in a spark! After that you try to do the work to figure it all out. I do sociology coaching I hesitate to say what you can do with that without getting paid first but trust me that is the key to knowing yourself and your own mind and the way it works that itself will give you a leg up on everyone else. Back to what I was saying what I end up doing is creating something that is like a puzzle to me and takes a while to get there and figure out exactly what I was attempting to do especially when it comes to mixing something that I freestyled. It's a difficult thing to do but if you master the workload part of it and pay attention and be ready when you get the spark to write those things down! Just remember this sometimes an algorithm and math equation comes in the form of a seed.
