It was a huge impact on his career as he also met Eminem that night and had a major performance. So he had to choose between saying goodbye to grandma, watching the birth of his firstborn or killing it at the performance. He performed. His grandma and wife were on 5th and 9th floors of the hospital.

Busta can rap faster than Em but Busta's bars fall short of Em's...and yes I've heard Em and Bust on their collabs. Royce is about the only person I think that can be in talks of Em's successor in terms of lyricism but Em's word play is just on it's own level.
