hi! just wanted to say you've really inspired and motivate me to become a character designer in the animation industry! I'm actually from va too and when u said u graduated from uva I was like whoa! I went to jmu for 2 years studying business tech and loved visiting cville (whether it be for work or to see my hoo friends)! the fact that u faced a lot of criticism for pursuing a long term career in art, not having majored in animation design in college, and still found those right opportunities in the right places through your dedication on building your skills, really pushes me to work towards a goal that certainly doesn't seem impossible or unreachable!! please keep doing what you're doing bc your art, videos, and optimism to move forward excites me and everyone else inspired by your story!!

This is hilarious, without realising it you created a video which summarises the struggles of arty people. Simple tasks are no longer simple if you're a perfectionist. thanks so much!! I'm so glad it's over haha. the tool was a stud finder for finding the strongest place to drill into the wall, but it stopped working basically as soon as we started 😂 so it wasn't of any use to us but looks cool at least hahah. and good luck with your project too, you can do it!!

Whenever I hang stuff on the wall, I usually just "eyeball it," thinking I can do it...then I end up making too many holes in the wall from failing to hang something straight...which leads to covering up the holes with whatever I was trying to hang in the first place. 😂 You did great!

Many failed attempts myself on the same task. I addressed 50% in July, then gradually 10% since then till now... working at a slug's pace. It was my New Year's resolution. I'll be done to about 90% by Thanksgiving, hopefully. So idk, it was a pretty good vlogging idea. I love how your music's never overwhelming. BTW, since it's almost the holidays, maybe you could do a Target DIY Holiday Cards tutorial series for middle schoolers. They don't have much money and I think you'd inspire them to make crafting and family care time trendy. Target's got some cool stuff, but I do a lot of just standing there, going, "Paint markers.... or just Crayola...? Chalk? Watercolor... is Crayola quality for that?" So if you open them up and show them how to use them. Idk, I always wished I had more craft buddies, and you seem to like Target.
