It wasn't too bad just made me feel claustrophobic. The camera makes the room look bigger. I love working in the space now and it's easier to clean up and put things away quick.

Looks great Susan! When you decide to paint the walls, you might think about painting them white, especially since you don’t have any windows. It would help brighten up the space and really show off your wonderful artwork!

Thank you, Susan. Your before and after tours are inspirational. You've got me thinking about possibilities for my small space where culling is needed! I'm already a big user of wheels. My space started as a combo guest room/creative space so I repurposed sturdy antique cabinets and dressers and mounted them on industrial wheels (lol). I especially appreciate the links you provided ❣️ My brain goes crazy when trying to make choices online, so I having a starting place is great.

If you use pop sockets, you can wind the cords around them and keep them neat and tidy. Then, if you need to the wires unwind easily.

Looks good! But I didn’t think it was too bad before. I figure an artist’s studio is supposed to have lots of stuff piled here and there….drawers and shelves with doodads and thingamabobs…it’s great. I love that your creativity spills out and overflows into the room. If a room is too tidy, I just can’t relate somehow. But it’s your space so I am glad that you are feeling good about what you have accomplished in making it more workable for you. I do love that pantry!

If the room was bigger I wouldn't mind the clutter so much. My previous studio had a lot more stuff out in the open. But I had a window and other spaces to go to in the art center. Here I'm stuck in this tiny room and the walls were closing in. It feels better now. The pantry made a big difference.

Looks like a fabulous, functional space. I too love to have clear workspaces but just do not have as much room. When gelli printing I have to take all of my supplies to the kitchen to work on the bench there and that sometimes puts me off printing. Thanks for sharing.

What do you soak your brayer in?

Murphy's Oil soap in warm water. Works in a few hours and the paint falls off and they are like new.
