ART STUDIO TOUR | Must haves for organization

The art studio has been years in the making. I love all of the nooks and crannies though she can become cluttered at times the studio is my happy art place. Over time, I’ve evolved the studio from a piece of wood that I put on my lap to draw on, then to an easel and now to a full art studio.
The best advice that I can give for creating your own art studio is to think of organization first. You will accumulate so many supplies, some of which, you won’t know that you need until the next project. If you are organized and you know what you like in a space, you will be a happy artist.

This is cool! Functional and nice, but not aesthetic and fake! Thank you! My daughter just moved out and I'm turning her room into a studio. Clay and splash painting, plus a little sculpting with random pieces are my things. I have not created since...man probably 7 years. I mean a couple sip and paints and a wheel throwing workshop, but nothing else. I've got some great tips from you, thank you 😊

Oh girl we are so alike in our studios. Everything I have is on wheels and everything is labeled especially if it's in a container you can't see through. That's the only way I can work!

Oh yes, if I can’t see it, I won’t use it, lol. I also can’t do a huge mess. Clutter, sure but not a huge mess, lol.

Great video. Really like your studio's layout. Like you, I have to have things out and readily available for me to grab and use. A treadmill tip.........I have a stationary bike in my bedroom across the hall from my studio room, so I will take breaks and go and pedal...especially if I am trying to work something out........but the tip is.....YT has all kind of "riding your bike through the French countyside".......or a "walking tour of Naples" videos. And these videos are all shot at head height, so if is like you are actually in the video. Makes for a nice deversion. I usually pick the video based on it's length for the amount of time I want to spend on the bike.

This was so fun to watch. I love the idea of putting everything on wheels! Looking into how I can get my desk onto wheels because I move it every few weeks depending don't the work I'm doing🌷
