Yeah idk either! It seems there are the two versions of rapunzel chilling…did anyone know why? Edit: I’m looking again, and it seems they gave the Indian (?) version of raps a sari, and made blonde rapunzel happier? Seems a little strange to me, they know Indian people wear other stuff right…? Like…seemed unnecessary to me lol(pls correct me if wrong or said smtn silly)

its basically that in the first version the indian woman is taking up all the space supposed to be taken up by the white woman (rapunzal) and that the indian woman is showing off and trying to cover up and hide away the rapunzal

It'a because the art was depicting the indian rapunzel as in the spotlight and sexualized to make her seem sl***y, and the white rapunzel was sad about it. It was racist and not ok. The new one depicts them being friends, and is a more accurate representation. Idk why the artist put her in a sari, but either way the new one is much better.

@@AugustHill-ue2tw ah thank you also i think the artist put her in a sari since it is our traditional clothing, so i'm assuming it was for a better representation too or they just wanted too since i'm pretty sure rapunzel is German i think so her outfit is based on traditional clothing so the artist did the same for Indian rapunzel
