Such a beautiful painting Ruby I also didn’t know my grandmothers my great aunt we called nana she was a fiery fierce woman but she was flipping amazing we need to be the wise woman and as we age become the elders that the younger generation can come to Beautiful blessings to a beautiful soul 🙏💕🙏

What a wonderful exploration - Grandmothers. I never knew my Mum's mother and my Dad's Mum died when I was 6 yrs. old so I can relate. We need older, wise women in our lives and our society today doesn't value that. As for your guilt about painting and inspiration I am so glad you figured out what you needed and are going for it. No more guilt! Interesting how health challenges can transform us. We really do need to listen to our bodies. So enjoy your little chat and paint vlogs. Wish I could attend your exhibition - sounds amazing and a wonderful opportunity. Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing your story, it is a shame western society doesn’t value older women, many feel invisible and I think that’s sad because they have so much to offer. You are so right, no more guilt, thank you. I will video my part of the exhibition so you can see it x
