I used a tool that most households already own, a power drill. You an use any gauge or length of wire. My husband is an electrician, so we have many different gauges of copper wire already at home. So, I gathered together craft wire in a vast array of colours, with just a few minutes of set up, I now possess over40 feet of unique wire for wire wrapping, components, jump rings, or (?). And, it was fun doing it, and I had help too, my husband saw I was having fun with his drill, so he joined in the fun, and that's why I have so much of it too!

I just made these bracelets using the same type of wire and gauge, but they look thin. The coils did turn out nice, but I just could not get the wire to even closely resemble a cuff. I bent it around a glass, near the bottom, but it just did not form right. What could I have done wrong? I used 3 strands of 20 gauge.

Hi There! Try using 3 strands of 18 gauge wire, that's what we used for our examples. 18 gauge is a little bit thicker than 20 gauge, so it should form better. We hope this helps!
