This was very interesting Ness and I'm thinking about taking your course even though I just do my art for myself right now. Is there an option to take the course any time we like or is it only going to be live during the time you teach it? I have a day job right now so I am interested in evening classes and/or on demand. Hi Mary! The lessons are not live, they are pre-recorded and get unlocked 1 per day in order not to overwhelm students. After 10 days, you have everything unlocked and have lifetime access to the content thereafter :)

Hi. I really found the video informative. But I had a doubt. I was wondering if you could pitch just one collection of surface design to a company. Or should we have a couple of them and only then pitch. Thank You

I suggest to have around 12 designs, the equivalent of 3 mini-collections of 4 or 4 collections of 3 before you start pitching. This gives you a bit more variety of themes to showcase your skill!

Selling on stock sites is a very different business model - you sell each pattern for just a few dollars, so you have to make hundreds of sales to be worth it. This takes a LOT of marketing effort. I've always found personally that it's much easier to sell one product for $1000 than it is to sell 1000 products for $1. So I prioritize working with companies directly on exclusive contracts, where each sale is quite a large amount of money. But it's a personal choice, if you enjoy stock sites better you can opt for that :)
