Once again, thank you....been watching your tutorials for a few days now,and I can say that I've been improving.....I tried drawing some realistic objects and posted some of them online and Yet a coworker of mine has challenged me to draw her portrait.....not sure to myself I did it with your tips and techniques....It turned out well, but not that perfect (still finding trouble in drawing realistic hair).....the result of the drawing is still good, in fact people had been asking me now to draw them too...and asking for a price......yet I still don't have the confidence to do so.....I don't even charge because I'm not a pro.

I don't draw realistically, but your youtube channel is very interesting nonetheless. I love watching your videos while drawing something. It's relaxing and cool. Thanks!

Will you plz tell us which medium of paper is perfect for pencil sketch? Wat should b the GSM?
@ArtByAliHaider5 жыл бұрын
For indentation technique, I'd suggest using a hot pressed 250-300gsm.

But what's indentation technique ??? I'm confused . And how does one know if the paper has those properties ?
@gerryjunpyo24625 жыл бұрын
By properties I mean the hot pressed 250-300 gsm? I'm so lost . Does Arteza have these papers and materials ? . Just subscribed ! Loved this tutorial !
@ind47305 жыл бұрын
@@gerryjunpyo2462 just to let you know, gsm is the unit of thickness of paper and you can get your preferred GSM paper in Amazon, and also on local stationary marts....And indentation is the technique of making lines in paper for outing very white areas in shading like the hyper realistic beards......Mister ali already has a video about indentation......
@zvonimirlucic70942 жыл бұрын
For grid lines on the empty piece of paper I suggest using a softer pencil, but with very light strokes and almost no pressure. If you use one of the harder H pencils and if it's sharp then the pencil kind of damages the paper and a lot of times it's hard to erase the grid lines completely. Even after shading over those areas they can still be visible. To avoid that, for grid lines I use a mechanical pencil with 2B, with very light strokes, almost no pressure on the paper. Since I started using it I never had any more grid line removal issues.

Haider, You're such a very brilliant artist and a teacher. First of all, thanks for sharing these such a nice and easy to pick up tips and tricks with us, yet it needs practices for better results for us. I'm currently learning by watching your videos only and yes, your videos helping me a lot. I have a question that you started this video very slow and steady process(which helps us to learn more deeply) and moving to hairs & afterward, it was running very fast. I would suggest to please make these types of videos in a slow and in more detailed information as you can. We as a beginner just love to watch everything step by step and in a slow process, not very slow. Don't worry about the video length as any beginner like me (who love and enjoy drawing) will definitely watch your whole video till the end because you teach us very nicely and more in more depth when it comes to details. Well, thanks for everything. You're an inspiration for all of us. Have a wonderful and blessed day. Deepak Sharma Love❤ from Delhi 🇮🇳

You know, I've been drawing for almost all of my life, practicing every single day, trying any genre or style i know and never liking any of it, I have seen friends draw for maybe a few weeks and get extremely better results than me, I have no hobbies or interests, and I feel like I am wasting my life. I watched hundreds of videos like this, and I never seem to have gotten any happier with my results. I am done with life.
