Happy Watercolor Wednesday Everyone , the best day of the week ! Spring break is over and the littles are back in school, and now maybe I can get some painting done ! It has been a challenge standing up and then keeping up with my foot recon still healing in an air cast , Wah ! I Love it when you choose a picture from one of Margot’s challenges and then show all those beautiful paintings from the group at the end! I had a lot of fun with this challenge and look forward to painting this beauty, I always learn something new every week ! I am back to say that you quite outdid yourself with the textures and the shadows in this one! I got so curious about your 'hang out' pun that I forgot to compliment you on the skill with which you built the sense of the old time-worn alley with the textures and patina that develop with the passing of the ages. Bizarrely, I only painted this yesterday. It’s interesting how you have a different approach. I painted it without any pre drawing then added line afterwards. Perhaps that may be a theme in the future; see how you would paint it then see how Paul interprets the same thing. Thanks again.
